Absolutely fantastic culinary, service, ambience and experience. In an area with elevated costs for fine dining, one must respect the quality/cost ratio. Grey Gables has one of the best in the Tri-City area of Boyne, Petoskey and East Jordan.

I am just disappointed I waited this long to finally try this establishment!

We had Grey Gables cater our wedding in October and they were so much more than just a caterer!
The food was absolutely AMAZING; we are still getting compliments from guests a month later. Our dinner was a duo plate of chicken and beef and numerous guests stated it was not wedding food, but a 5 star restaurant dinner. And the late night coney bar was so much fun.
They also went above and beyond for us and our guests - between packaging up our food we weren't able to finish, helping other guests who had to leave unexpectedly and packaging up their food, assisting us in our table clean up so we didn't have to step away in the middle of our wedding, helping display our desserts - we were in awe. Their staff were all so kind, helpful, and truly took so much stress off of my husband and I, as well as our family who we had at the ready to clean up for us. Could not thank Katie and the team enough for everything they did to make our day run so smoothly.

I ordered the Filet mignon. It was like chewing on a tire. I did not eat it and it was taken off the bill. The rest of the meal was outstanding. I recommend the fish.

Local, high end Gem with great food and drink choices.

Mushroom bisque is delicious. While fish melts in your mouth and the oysters are superb.

Great for a romantic outing or a night out with a group family and friends.

Three couples enjoyed having a wonderful meal in a wonderfully comfortable setting.
The noise level never was greater than our conversations and you felt that we did not infringe on other customers.
Comfortable attire including jeans and a flannel blended with other patrons. Dining areas had ample space to adjust or move about.
Dinner offerings included a variety of fish, meat and poultry choices. Salads that looked incredible.
Personally, I opted for the stuffed whitefish, that was both delicious and filling.
All of us shared the same thoughts on the cuisine with no disappointments from some spoiled paletts.

Make a reservation,it gets busy. We did and ask for a cozy spot, which we got and it was much quieter than the main dining room. My husband loves ice cream drinks, so he ordered a hummer. He was happy. I had a glass of wine, which was reasonably priced. I ordered the Norwegian salmon entree. I ask if it was farmed or wild; it was wild. It was fabulous. Served with cocous and a buerr blanc sauce with what I thought were red current, which gave it just a burst of sweetness. My hubby had the french onion soup and the beef and pork meatballs over mashed potatoes. He was pleased as well. Our waitress was very pleasant and friendly, with great service. We didn't feel rushed. First time here.and would come again.

We have been coming here for years, and make it a point to stop in everytime we are in charlevoix. We had Grey Gables cater our wedding a couple years ago, and it was PERFECT. Everyone loved the food!

Food is always great and the drinks are strong!

My wife and I are a younger couple, so sometimes we feel a little out of place, especially when we are sat in the quiet room separate from the main restaurant. But nonetheless, we absolutely love coming here and will continue to do so every time we are in the area.

Don’t go here. They’ll only reserve bar tables for people they want to. They’ll have you stand there while there’s open tables just to let some summer people have them who come in after you.

Well, you were recommended by some locals and we checked your menu, which looked great. When we arrived, you were closed, even though the sign out front said you were open on Sunday. Please update your website, or at least leave a note. Very disappointing!
