Great food and wonderful, friendly service. Lobster chowder was delicious. Hubby enjoyed the prime rib stroganoff and I loved the Walleye. I appreciated the large selection of gluten free menu items.

Had a good time here, lots of places close very early in CVX, Marek's is open till 10 so plenty of time for a late night dinner. We had a trio of the walleye dinner which was well fried yet still light. Reasonable prices for a downtown place, not crazy cheap not eye watering. Good place for a casual dinner in Charlevoix.

We ate here because we didn’t want to wait 45 minutes at another restaurant. What a lucky break! We were seated immediately. We had lobster bisque and muscles. The bowl of muscles was huge and in a wine and garlic sauce. Both meals were delicious, and the music was good!

It's a burger joint that got a fancy blow out. The lake burger was good but very simple with just lettuce, tasteless tomato and onions, ketchup and mustard on the side served in the plastic little jars. Cheese is $2 extra, so as mushrooms, served with kettle chips. They offer you fries without ever telling that its extra $4. It was an expensive burger, without any extra drinks. Philly cheesesteak was good, as expected. Service is close to non-existent while the restaurant only had 4 tables occupied (2 were leaving), ours was a host who stepped in since no one came to our table for a while, she was not friendly or joyful but not nasty either. And the cherry on top - the bathrooms are on the 2nd floor ONLY, with pretty steep stairs. Those that have bad knees, temp injury or mobility issues beware, Idk how they can get away with this with ADA. Had we had more time in town we would have chosen a better place.

We had the prime rib and whitefish special - it was fantastic! The salads are fresh and delicious and the truffle fries are a must have.
We had just finished a sail and needed a place for lunch. The wait at the most popular place was 30 minutes, so we wandered the main street and came upon Marek's. There were only 8 other people in the place, but it was comfortable and the service was quick and friendly.
We ordered the Fish and Chips and a Chicken and Gouda Salad. The fish and chips were very disappointing as there was only 4 little pieces of fish. The fries were good though. It was not at all worth $21.00. The salad was ample enough, but the chicken was dry and the dressing was way too sweet. The shredded gouda did add an interesting flavor profile. I can't say we would recommend eating here.

Finally stopped in this place after years of waling by, and we were glad we did! Food was much better than expected—like their Chef is there from a 5-Star place for the summer! Try the Truffle Fries—the best we’ve ever had! Service was great too!

Chill restaurant bar. Great pulled pork nachos. My husband and I shared for lunch and had a few beachy drinks. It's right on the main drag and wasn't too busy at 2:00. We will be back for sure.
