Spare Key was wonderful! 5 of us went and did the chocolate pairing with our wine choices. So much fun, loved the atmosphere and the time the owner took talking with us. Definitely will be back, a great place.

whenever we're in the area.

Very nice stop on our family 2024 winery tour weekend. We stopped in with a group of 10 and we all loved this spot. Chatting with the owners was an added bonus. Nice surroundings and beautiful inside with lots of seating. Owner bought me a coke as I was the Designated Driver. Stop in you won't be disappointed.

Pleasant place, but compared to other wineries in the area, very low rated by my wife and I. Owner was very friendly, but wines were mediocre at best. Not a place we'll choose to come back to.

Stopped into Spare Key for an impromptu glass of wine. They had the best customer service, great atmosphere gorgeous scenery out back. We didn’t want to leave!!! Thanks for the great visit & tasty wine!

My parents and I went here on a rainy afternoon. The owners are incredibly friendly and great to talk to! Their wine is excellent, especially their fruit wines! They have a gorgeous facility and their tap room is very modern and well done. One of the owners even made us a reservation at the Argonne House in Charlevoix. 11/10 would go back.

It was wonderful to visit Spare Key again after visiting when it first opened in 2018! The views are fantastic and there is indoor and outdoor seating. Great service and wine selection!

Lovely winery! Will definitely be back. Limited seating inside, but lots of space outside.

Split two flights of wine and one flight of chocolate and loved everything that I tried! The couple tending to us were knowledgeable and kind, I can not wait to go back and try more!

Stopped for the Frostbite trail - food and Frontenac wine was wonderful. Very friendly, all the wines we had were outstanding.

I had a fantastic experience here. I came in while on a weekend wine tour on a moody autumn day. The wine here was exceptional and unique. They are a small winery working with unique grapes making fascinating wines. It is always a delight to see people with passion innovating and that’s what’s being done here. They had a whiskey barrel aged white that was just superb. Buttery and Smokey, a delectable blend of whiskey and white wine I didn’t know I needed in my life. I’m very happy I stopped in. The owners are also very willing to speak on the wine making process so make sure to give them a listen. 5/5.
