The staff was very attentive and friendly, atmosphere is nice, and the food is good. The fish was very fresh, potatoes came out great and the beans were insanely delicious. The only item we didn't care too much for was the garlic stuffed filet, it oddly didn't taste that garlicky even though it was truly stuffed with garlic. I'd still recommend this restaurant & go back when in the area next.

Amazing food and service. Everything was top notch. Waitress was very good and timed food perfectly. I specifically went here for the escargot and it was excellent. Love the way it’s prepared. Will be a must stop every summer when I’m in town.

Caesar salad was not super enjoyable and they used canned green beans(the green beans dislike is just personal preference). Steak had a lot of fat but that can't really be controlled that much. I feel bad for the harshness, but yeah it just wasn't super great.

Good “old school” restaurant in downtown Charlevoix. Good location, no outside dining. Staff hospitable and efficient. Food well prepared and served in a timely manner

Supper hours only 5-9 pm. No reservations taken. 14 tables smartly dressed. The waitstaff all seem to have years of experience. Extensive wine offerings. The mushroom ravioli appetizer was very tasty with homemade ravioli and a rich morel sauce. (Should have been offered as an entrée). Whitefish, walleye, perch several different ways. I had blackened Whitefish that was good, not excellent. Greenbeans tasted fresh. Husband had "cut with your fork" tender veal and the famous Stewed tomatoes. He said tomatoes were good but not hot in temperature. We shared a fresh baked key lime pie with raspberry sauce. Lovely combination. Subtle lime taste pie

Always the best. The whitefish is second to none. Two fabulous long-time waitresses. Best restaurant in northern Michigan, IMHO.

Had the whitefish almondine and loved it. Sides were good too. The crab cakes were meaty and not a lot of filler and was impressed. Loved the sauce too.
