The sidewalk sign sucked us in down the beautiful alleyway to the Cantina. This restaurant was excellent, hands down the best place for good quality Mexican cuisine here in Northern Michigan. We got the nachos ( they were to die for, we asked for added jalapenos ) and also got the chicken quesadilla, very tasty as well. We will go back! First visit to this place. Very nice patio. The server was very busy, but we weren’t in a rush. The margaritas were good as was the nacho sampler. However, the tacos were marginal and the quesadilla was so greasy and there was so much cheese it was overflowing and almost burned. They didn’t look anything like the pictures others have shared. I never thought I’d complain about too much cheese. I couldn’t even finish 1/4 of the large quesadilla and had no desire to take...
I absolutely love this town. Visit every year. This was my first visit to The Cantina. I always travel with my dog, and this cute restaurant has beautiful outdoor seating that allows our furry friends. The food is absolutely delicious. The server, Frank The Great, was so top-notch. Hands down a great time. A+ for me at The Cantina!
