Very nice place. Very busy though and does not take reservations. You can also order takeaway and eat on the picnic tables facing the water.

There's a reason this place is so busy in the summer. The food really is great and it's hard to beat for a waterside restaurant. I only wish there were some indoor tables or just more tables in general. It's a good problem to have, though, being a well-frequented establishment.

We had the best experience! My friends and I won a boat outing and came here beforehand to get picked up on the dock. Our bartender offered to let us leave our leftovers with them and stored them in the cooler for us so they stayed fresh. The food and drinks were all amazing!

Great location good food cold beer šŗ
Came here specifically for the lobster roll after seeing several great reviews. It was 0/10. A friend and I split one and both of us picked out the ālobsterā and just ate the bread it came on. It was fishy, rubbery and not seasoned. Paid $30 and didnāt have more than one bite each. The margaritas were great and the triple dip was great! We also got the crab cakes which we took one bite of and didnāt eat anymore because it was so fishy and repulsive. The atmosphere was fun, the service was just okay with not never attentive staff, the entree was atrocious. Overall a waste of an hour drive round trip.

As soon as my family pulled up to the restaurant, I remembered picking a prize out of the treasure chest as a kid. Over a decade later, the place has grown from a casual shack to a full-menu restaurant and bar with merch and a wonderful atmosphere. Our wait was reasonable for a summer afternoon and the highlight of our visit was a pretzel bigger than anybody's head and mocktails for the kids. Ben, the 14 year old host was adorable and our waitress Caroline was attentive to our group of nine throughout our whole visit. I'm so happy to see this place thriving, and it still has a treasure chest for the kids.

Summer fun, great food, attentive and fun servers. Summer atmosphere on the water while watching the boats, people and the unique and quaint car ferry. A summer gem.

Cool location. Food was alright, service was good. Definitely unique to park a boat and go grab lunch - they have crew members to help with docking the boat.

Friday evening and the joint was jumpin. 1 1/2 hour wait. Immediately and miraculously we got 4 seats at the bar and was greeted by the friendly bartender. Very busy but we got our drinks and food order in a timely fashion, shortly after we got our drinks our food arrived almost as fast as McD. Perch baskets and the Asian Cashew Chicken Bowl were delicious with generous portions. $5 draft pints and a great offering of rums, you canāt go wrong. Also the food was very reasonably priced especially having the best location on the waters of Lake Charlevoix.

Great find! A friend recommended. We all got something different...and we all wish we could have ordered someone else's meal after tasting it. Everything was great! The pretzel app is HUGE! Oh, and beers for $5.00 in northern Michigan...sweet!
