We stopped at The Landing for lunch while out on a Poker Run. We were greeted with happy smiling staff. One of the servers asked for us to be seated in her section as she loves bikes. The food was GREAT, but the STAFF and the ATMOSPHERE were OUTSTANDING!! The manager cared for her employees and was just as much of a delight as the rest of the staff! As it turns out, our server (a young woman) is also a diesel mechanic and is going to work at the Iron Horse in Sturgis for the upcoming season!! Her manager was extremely supportive and you just don't see that kind of support very often anymore, but it showed in every aspect of the establishment.

Great food! Summer vibes! Lots of seating all over the property and fun things to do while you 'sip-n-wait' for a table.
Went here in July and had a very nice time. The place was packed and we had about a 45 minute wait. Went to the bar and they served us promptly. Got our table and the server was excellent. Very nice and engaging. We all had the perch. Food was good. Service was great. And the setting/ambience was very nice.

Disappointed! ? I should have known when this venue with ample outdoor seating, including yard games, did not allow pets that they were going to miss the mark in more ways than one. They had the worst lobster rolls, I have ever experienced. Served cold lime a seafood salad, might as well had been imitation, maybe it was, I couldn't tell by all of mayo and other ingredients that drenched the roll. The mayo dressing Completely covered up any resemblance of the taste of lobster or any version of seafood at all. The peel n eat shrimp were tasty...if u don't mind your peel n eat shrimp served cold, without any dipping butter. This place was a bust unfortunately, in my experience.

I was worried that a place with a gift shop wouldn't be great, but it was!! Lovely environement on the water, super friendly staff and great food.
I appreciated that there were menu options that you couldn't necessarily find in town, just a little more diversity in the menu. My cocktail was fantastic, too.

My boats bigger then your boat kind of atmosphere, which my wife and I found completely amusing. Retired old hairy men parading around shirtless and barefoot, while the silliest of 1 up me(I was amazing in highschool at this or that)stories could be heard from the wives table. It's what I imagine being at your parents 50th high school reunion.Great food and service. We can't wait to visit again, the restaurant where the poor wait staff have to put up with people complaining about the amount of alcohol in their shots. ?
Absolutely in love with this place . It is such a beautiful restaurant that sits right on a water . Food is fantastic I loved all my seafood dinners perch was delicious and hot lobster avocado toast with a surprise of a ginger in it was so tasty !!! We all LOVED their pulled pork nachos that is a huge meal for a whole family to share . Food was so tasty that we had to keep going back for more on a same trip , instead of exploring other diner restaurants on our trip :) service was outstanding! Such wonderful crew is working there !!! Makes it such pleasant experience! Last time we went there, The MOM of the owners was working there , she is the sweetest , nicest person !!! Thank you so much for being so kind and attentive, really enjoyed your company ! The landing is right next to ferry and it is so fun to spend time at and watch all boats and ferry activities. Love the side bar for waiting for a table and all games you can play while waiting . Kids even have their own little picnic tables ! So cute !!! Love this place and highly recommend to everyone to check it out .

Visited because of the reviews of the lobster roll, it lived up to the hype. Absolutely amazing. The wait was about 45 mins but well worth it. You could sit and watch boats pass. We were seated by the car ferry and it was super interesting to watch. Food, service and atmosphere were all great. Highly recommend and will visit again.
