Huge downgrade from the past!

Mancino's grinders used to be the best. Thinly sliced meat, piled high on the perfect bread, firm but chewy in all the right ways, with perfectly melted cheese, topped with bacon, lettuce, tomatoes, and the perfect amount of mayo.
Now, the meat is just one think piece of turkey and ham. It drastically changes the entire sandwich.
Super disappointed in this new version of the Mancino's Club which once an amazing grinder.

I absolutely recommend to anyone. They had a wide variety of seating types, which doesn’t seem like a big deal but still very nice. The atmosphere was beyond amazing, being inside made me forget that I was at a plaza, it was extremely clean and neat. Certainly enjoyable to sit and chat with friends, or alone, as they had multiple pizza sizes to choose from. As well as a surplus of toppings, ensuring that there will be something you like. While the wait was longer than other places, it is because it is FRESH, when I picked up my slice, the “stringy melt-y” cheese you see in the ads was real. And the actual pizza was even better, even after I was full I still wanted to (and did) eat more. It was truly one of the BEST pizzas I’ve had, and I'm from New York, I would come back here a million times for the pizza, and because this place is so affordable, I actually can!! While you wait, on every table there are fun trivia cards to keep you entertained, and they have cute little mints you can get for free. The staff was very kind and certainly enjoyed being there. In fact it was so good that hours after eating there, I ordered another one. And to think I only went there because the Chinese buffet Nextdoor was closed. Lo amavo!!!

First off, let me start by saying I normally go to the Owosso location. I have never had an issue with that location and the food there has always been phenomenal. In Owosso they serve the grinders in a cardboards sub box to prevent them from getting soggy. I wrongly assumed the Lansing location did the same.

We were driving back to Missouri and decided to give the Lansing location a shot. Never again. The turkey was not thinly shaven (per usual) and was rather thick. It threw off the taste and the texture kinda grossed me out. Worse yet, they served the $20 subs in tinfoil. We all had one piece and went back for another piece about 20 minutes later. The bread was so soggy from being wrapped in tin foil it was mush. We were horrified as we just spent over $50 on these subs and ended up throwing them away!!

We called the restaurant to let them know our concerns and spoke to the owner who offered to “make it right” with a gift card. We explained we were driving back to Missouri and wouldn’t be in the area to use the gift card. She said she could send a gift card to our family if we had any in the area. I declined.

She offered no other solutions. I’m sick about the amount of money we spent here and the lack of concern to do anything other than offer a gift card. I will never be back to this location.

The team served fresh and hot food that was made the way we wanted. We even came in the last hour they were open.

Parking: There is free parking but the parking lot is like a mine field in Iraq. So many things to avoid just so you can park to eat. Seriously take it slow.

This is a very hostile work environment for any minors. The girl who owns it (Jess) will talk badly about the minors in front of and with other employees. She’ll also fire a child that did nothing wrong via texting them while they’re in school and then say they’re not allowed to get their check. If you’re a parent of a minor you absolutely don’t want your children working here!

Great atmosphere, great fresh food. Just had the olive burger calzone and it was delicious and looked amazing on the plate, served with a delicious flavorful pickle spear!Great place for fine family dining.
