My husband and I discovered this little gem on our last yearly visit to Charlotte. If you haven't tried their club on cheese bread you are missing out. Love this place!
My husband and I were in MI just before the holidays and a friend recommended that we try the Sidestreet Delicatessen ( the original).
We looked at the menu ahead of time and made our selection. The Guido sandwiches were delicious and fresh with just the right ingredients. Likewise the bakery items were delicious. We sampled the little peaches and the outrageous cheese cake and coffee.

I will probably NEVER return after last night's bakery experience. I was kind enough to only take a back shot of this employee so the establishment could address her directly, but I am afraid my experience could be commonplace.
