The food is usually pretty good and the service is friendly. Prices are about average for this type of restaurant. Their specials are usually a pretty good deal.

Our favorite restaurant, the best food for a good price, always good portions, HOMEMADE. And we love the waitresses, Trish and Jenny.

Food is always great, my only strife is that young lady that works there is not very friendly with customers or her other staff members, she will openly swear and talk about you and your order when u can blatantly hear. The other servers are nice, and food is good with great prices and good portion sizes! If u do order a salad make sure to tell them to put shredded cheese otherwise they put chopped sliced cheese.

Aweful the service is the worst. They were one of the best restaurants around but they're starting to go downhill. The waitress got mad at us because we didn't want to sit in front of the door. They were also complaining loudly behind the counter because we moved from the front counter. We were sitting at the front counter cuz we got so tired of standing we had to sit down somewhere I can't stand for very long. There were customers that were there without any food and all the waitresses especially one could do was set on the cash register computer. This is to the wait staff if you don't like your job get a different one. This used to be a great place to go and eat I will never go back again.

I ordered thru Door Dash, and they were n 20 minutes. No big deal! The food looked good and tasted ok, but nothing special! They gave us each a cup of chicken noodle, which had a spice in there that just didn't belong there.I'll give it another try in a few months, but so far, I was not impressed.

Food was okay! The younger waitress was RUDE! Won't go back just due to her. What kind of stress can a little 17 year old have? Smile honey if u don't like it quit

Went to AFR to try something different in the area for a family diner. Atmosphere - pleasant. Nice place to relax. Food - average to good. They are a family diner so you know what you are getting. Food quality was good and I enjoyed the food. Service = F. Took 10-15 minutes for waitress to get our order in. They were a bit busy, likely understaffed, so this is kind of understandable. What is not understandable is when the waitress comes to take the order and says "go ahead..." My wife then asked for the smothered chicken. The waitress proceeded to notify us that it takes a while to prepare, so if you are impatient (paraphrase) like this guy is at the other table, you might want to order something different. I also ordered a bowl of soup that never came. I asked when dinner was being served about the soup, to which the waitress answered "don't worry - I did not charge you for it:... As we were eating, we then got to hear about the waitress complaining about the table to the side of us, which she was "done with". Lastly, we had the pleasure to hear her complain to the other staff member about her coworker who was not there. Maybe Gen Z-er waitress was having a bad day? Maybe she is always like that? What I can say is that I won't return for a while, if ever, with the broad choices of family diners in the area. If I was the owner, and I took time to read reviews, I would take the time to sit the staff down (or said worker) and share that this behavior, while serving people (or any public-facing work), is unacceptable, and can kill a business. Will they miss me and my family regarding business? Probably not. If this happens consistently, it could cut into their profits. Price - reasonable... Poor service can ruin a good meal. It did.

The food was good and great lunch specials. Had the fish and chips and meatloaf. I would recommend.

The cooks are excellent and the waitresses are pleasant. Here, everything is fantastic. Their grilled chicken salad is to die for. Large servings, at least for the salads.

Good was good and fair price but it took 45 minutes for BLT and Greek salad. Not sure what the hills up was.

I met a friend here for breakfast. We both ordered eggs over medium, sliced potatoes and rye toast. The eggs were more like sunny side up, which I don't really care for. I prefer them to be cooked a little bit more so they're not slimy. The sliced potatoes weren't completely done, which affected the taste as far as lacking flavor due to them still being slightly raw and only slightly browned. The rye toast was different.... thicker and softer than what I'm used to and barely toasted. The service was friendly and the little place had gotten full which meant the server was running around trying to keep up. She did a great job, but there wasn't much time for her to take a breather. It's a simple, casual and no frills type of diner. It's a little dated but if you enjoy this type of place, then you'll like eating here. There are many excellent restaurants in our area so I think I'll stick to those instead. This place didn't impress me and the food was more on the bland side and not really cooked enough. One and done for me... at least for breakfast. I may go back once more to try a lunch. We shall see, but I'm in no big hurry to return.
