First time visting this establishment. We went on Sunday afternoon the 28th 2024. Location is awesome. However, the establishment upon entering was absolutely filthy. Floors slippery with grease or some substance throughoutthe entire restaurant, VERY sticky tables, absolutely horrid. We were seated at a booth with a completely broken table ( wobbly in every direction including up and down at least 6 inches.) TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE! Zero chance of being served properly so we moved to the next booth which also was sticky and disgusting but included ripped and torn sticky seats with duct tape patching that has been failing fir some time. Our server was nice but obviously embarrassed of the condition the restaurant was in. Food was fine and served politely. Small portions but warm. We ate our food and left as soon as possible as the filth made the experience miserable. Will not be going back.

Next time, just put up a sign that says "upstairs is reservations only..." Also, your water tastes like what morning breath smells. Disgusting.

I’ve been here 3-4 times now; all around the same time (between lunch and dinner). Relatively empty, multiple servers noted to be working. I just don’t understand why the service is so slow everytime I come here! We sat at the bar, bartender said hello to us and put napkins down then didn’t even ask what we wanted to drink for another 10 min, they were cleaning/organizing bar instead (would’ve understood if they were busy helping others, we were confused). Our food came out cold (disappointed but not surprised because this had been each experience of mine here). Just upset because I’ve given this place a few chances now because I see it has potential, but have been disappointed each time… Gave an extra star because my one drink tasted good.

Don’t go to this restaurant if you have plans the same day I spent three hours of my life here that I can’t get back. I went here on a mildly busy Saturday and my food took an hour to come out I ordered the salmon and asked for extra sauce and my waitress said it was a 2 dollar up-charge I waited 30 minutes for it to come out and then my food was cold no effort was even made to take it off of the bill. I ordered dessert and cashed out with my server my donuts came out burnt and I asked to speak to a manager she offered a new dessert “on her” as if I should be paying for another one and my waitress came back and complained about the kitchen. The manager was unapologetic and careless only focusing on the bigger parties. I never got my dessert and left having spent 100 dollars extremely unhappy.

The food it terrible, it's not seasoned I would compare it to gas station food. I came to eat out with my friends, and we all didn't finish our meals and drinks. I paid 30 something for a terrible meal. The only redemption is the staff, very kind I hope they are treated well. Would not come back, would not recommend.
I ordered the honey chicken sandwich and it wasn't good at all. First of all, the chicken itself was very small and barely had any meat on it. Secondly, it was over fried so it was kind of burnt. The meat itself was very tough and dry. The flavor combination of the pickles with the honey and chicken just didn't work well at all. The tater tots were okay and the pretzel bites with cheese sauce were good. Unfortunately the chicken sandwich was just so bad. It kind of ruined the whole experience. I don't really believe they deserve the rating they currently hold.

Love the appetizers & best martinis ever! However, you can’t bring your "dog"any more in any places in "the dog mall" no wonder all of the stores and restaurants r going out of business. This Bar Louie has the best music. I live 5 minutes from the Royal Oak location However, this 1 is much better. I wish Royal Oak would play better music & have a little better service.

This place sucked. Waited 20 minutes before my order was taken, another group walked in after us, and got attended to MUCH BEFORE us, we ordered sprite and got club soda, and all the food was either nasty or unflavorful. It's dirty
