The manager running the cash register was loudly screaming at the employees in the kitchen when I entered to pick up my food. She then proceeded to try to assume aspects of my character by looking at the generic picture on my credit card. It was completely unacceptable "small talk." The whole time she was wearing a political hat as well. I don't like when businesses proclaim political affiliations. It was without a doubt the worst customer service I have ever experienced and I will not be returning.

It's always hard for me to find a Chinese restaurant that makes really good Almond Boneless Chicken. It can sometimes be rubbery or just not cooked well. 1st Wok has amazing Almond Boneless Chicken cooked to perfection. They put their gravy on side, and the combo includes rice and an egg roll. They give you so much for a low price and it lasts me a few meals! They're always so friendly and fast! If you ever want some great Chinese food, this place is amazing! Highly recommend!

I'm giving a cautious five stars only because we have only tried this restaurant once on 12/19/2023 and we only ordered a quart of wonton soup and four of the spring rolls. While we still prefer the wonton soup from New Great Wall (sadly the owners retired and closed the restaurant), the wonton soup from First Wok is a close second and the spring rolls were quite good in our opinion. The owners were so nice and having their children there we thought was a great thing as well. It's a very small place but the price was excellent and we look forward to trying some of their other dishes. I will update the review after we try it again. We would definitely say give it a try!

Reading reviews is all we can do for a reference when we don't know about the food or experience of a place. After reading the reviews for this place we ordered some pick up. I normally don't write negative reviews, but...... The reviews we read prior to going were all misleading. I can't afford to spend $40 to feed my family and nobody wants a second bite of anything. The fried rice was dry and flavorless. The egg rolls have a filling that I can't even recognize. The orange chicken was processed fried chicken, with the sauce on the side. Even their so called famous crab Rangoons are just the same as any others you have ever had. Gonna throw away this food and eat cereal instead tonight. This place sucks!

Seriously the best Chinese takeout in the Sterling/Clinton area. We’ve tried multiple places but ALWAYS end up going back here bc it’s just the best. The workers are very nice & food is always consistent & big portions. Don’t waste your time trying anyone else.

First of all I’ve never had Red sweet and sour sauce. It was tasteless, 3 pineapples, no carrots. I order sweet and sour often enough to know a delicious meal, vs this one. I will never again! YUCKK!!
