Dinner was amazing, but the drink prices were outrageous! I ordered a glass of Chardonnay expecting just a house wine. On our bill we saw 22.00 for a glass, up charge on cocktails as well! I think the waitress did it on purpose looking for a large tip, which we did not tip on the drinks like that. We love this place, but this kinda turned us off. We have been going for over twenty years!

After having had several disappointing restaurant experiences recently, I was treated to a lovely meal at J Baldwin this past weekend. We had a 2pm reservation, so it wasn't busy. We started with drinks at the bar, a delicious bloody mary with hand-stuffed blue cheese olive and an Aperol Spritz. Then moved to our table where we had excellent service. We had several starters.
