In town for work. Yelped tacos near me for taco Tuesday and found a number of choices. Picked Juan Miguel and headed out. Large parking lot because business is in a strip mall so there are many other business establishments. We parked and headed in. We were greeted kindly and seated in a booth right away. The place was packed for 5pm for dinner. Our waitress Ingrid was prompt to welcome us and took our drink order. We ordered a liter of top shelf margaritas. Pleasantly surprised that they had casamigos tequila. I ordered the quesabria with rice and beans. My husband ordered tamales and a Southwest chicken quesadilla. Our drinks arrived and we were given chips and salsa. Shortly after our entrees arrived. Everything was fresh, hot and delicious. The manger Carley stopped by to check on us. We told her how wonderful our meal was and that Ingrid was taking great care of us. Being from out of town and having so many options we were happy we chose Juan Miguel. She asked if we had the soup. Unfortunately we did not but she insisted we should but since we had our meal already done she gave us a soup to go. It was extremely sweet and we planned on trying it when we got back to the hotel. We were finishing our last glass of our Margaritas and Kevin, the owner, stopped by to see how our meal was. I was so happy he stopped by so we could provide him with how pleasant the establishment was, how the staff was super friendly and how fragy the food was. Definitely a place to be if you are in the area. Bill was around $119.00 without tip. Definitely a great price for the food and service received. Highly recommend.

My first visit dinner & got to meet the owner, Kevin, The manager Carly, had a wonderful waitress Ingrid with her attentive service and very much enjoyed their chips, Salsa, quesadillas, tamales and Margaritas! Can't wait to try the soup we brought home as well. If you're in the area I would stop by and check it out. Very satisfied 1st time customer & will be backfor more!!

My husband and I decided to try Juan Miguel’s Mexican restaurant for the first time and wasn’t disappointed. Our server, Genev, greeted us with excitement and gave us amazing recommendations from appetizers, to entrees, and even dessert. Everything that we ordered was a 10/10! Guacamole, tortilla soup (must have), margaritas, carnitas, and combo platter was amazing! We even had leftovers for lunch and they were still amazingly good. We can’t wait to come back! Hope we have Genev again. She was attentive, genuine, and just all around an awesome waitress to have. She made our experience one to remember. 🙂

The food is always dependable to be what I expect my cheese enchiladas to be. That’s why I continue to order them. I can depend on them being good each time. They also have a wonderful house. Margarita and you can buy a to go, which gives you two drinks and at this time it’s $10. It’s in a sealed bottleso no drinking and driving.

It's better than El Charros. This is the place you go when you want a dang good meal at a good price with a margarita. No one is going to post on Instagram or whatever when dining here, or brag about it on their Facebook page.... they're too busy enjoying excellent food without paying extra for some pretentious name. The wait staff hustle hard and will keep your tables drinks and dishes coming. Lunch specials are fast and cheap and delicious. You can eat here for less than taco bell!!!! Try them out and thank me later.

The food was okay, kind of meh. I just wasn't impressed by any of it but it also wasn't bad. I got a combo that had a fried flour Taco, a burrito, and chili rellano (sp?). I definitely wouldn't call it authentic Mexican cuisine but I'm also not sure if they claim it to be. I also got one of their special margaritas with Matthew McConaugheys new tequila which was pretty good but on the sweet side. I ordered a blueberry lavender margarita but sent it back (which I almost never do) as it tastes of neither blueberries nor lavender and more like medicine.
The atmosphere in the main dining area seemed nice, but I'm a sit at the bar kind of gal and it was not the place to be. It was very small, at the front of the restaurant near the door so there was lots of traffic (especially for to go orders), and for some reason they had Nickelodeon playing on the big screen which was a weird vibe but whatever.
The saving grace of my experience was my server, Pia. She was friendly, attentive, and just very sweet. It also sèemed like the teamwork was pretty strong which is something I love to see, being a server/bartender myself.
Overall, not great, not terrible, but I probably won't make a point to return.
