I have gone to Sanders and Morleys always for the holidays for years you have changed names and products who ever you are listening to forcwhat products your going to carry is very out of touch with your customer base. You missed the mark the things you were known for you don't carry I was just at your hall road store and when you hear multiple customers say the same thing you have cut down choices and replaces thing with chocolates that have nothing to do with the holiday. Very disappointed and I'm one customer who never complains I just don't but I feel strongly about this because your losing business and I don't think your paying attention listen to your customers you can hear it in your lobby I did. And that's not good for you people were commenting about not having all the cute Easter candy you used to carry and left to go somewhere else I did. To a private candy maker who has a little store but a big variety and it's easter Candy some of crap you carry now it's sad and your store presentation is very unwelcoming and I heard that from your customers through out the store they do not like the changes you need to listen to them. They won't write a review they will just stop coming this is what happens when your out of touch with your customer base. I will say this customer who has always spent alot of money and I have a huge family who has the same opinion will not be back. The changes you have made are not good at all and I'm sure your sales will reflect this because people don't always like to speak up they just quit going.

Go to CVS and buy the Dove Milk Chocolate Eggs 8.87oz for $4, they’re better than anything you can find at Sanders. Sadly somewhere along the lines Sanders started using edible wax and the Morley and Sanders brand/recipe that we loved for years doesn’t exist anymore. Year after year, I’ve taken my elderly mother to buy holiday goodies for all the young ones in her life and today we walked out because the prices were outrageously high. Charging $9 for a 6oz bag of Sanders Milk Chocolate Eggs was the final sign this company has lost its way. I was happy to see so many others agreed through reviews there’s definitely some type of edible wax being used.

Not enough staff to handle ice cream customers and those who were just buying merchandise! That’s the reason for the wayI gave stars!I spent over $50 of candy for Easter gifts. I could feel my blood sugar level rising as soon as I walked in. My olfactory sense was ecstatic. My mouth started watering, too.The selection here is tremendous and fortunately not all milk chocolate but a solid mix of dark, too. I didn't see any white chocolate, however.There are offerings that aren't chocolate (for those "odd" people like my brother-in-law who doesn't like it) in case you are looking for a different flavor or even texture. Like ice cream. And pop. And cake.Vegetarian options: I guess it depends on how restricted your vegetarian diet is. There's no meat in the items, but eggs and dairy are likely.Dietary restrictions: It's candy. You know if you can eat it or not.Parking: There's plenty.Kid-friendliness: Good luck getting your kids out of here.Wheelchair accessibility: A decent amount of room for the chairs.

Went there and it was 9 AM this morning on March 19th 2024 and show my son how they made chocolate. He was excited. I was excited to share that experience with him. And then I had him go and pick out some chocolate for him. And his brother's and grandma. We get up to the counter. She rings us up. And I can't pay with my card because my card didn't have a chip in it. So I asked if there was an ATM and the lady said no. She kept telling me that I could not get it. There was nothing that I can do about it. So my son was very disappointed because when we went up to the counter. He was like I'm getting this for Grandma. And then we had to leave without any chocolate because they don't accept cards without a chip in them. We went there for nothing

I grew up loving Sanders and their products. I'm alarmed and upset to discover that their "quality ingredients" include bioengineered food ingredients. Europe doesn't allow GMO/bioengineered ingredients because they can test for long term risks in a short period of time. I just thought wrong and hoped this company would stay grounded. Maybe they'll reconsider?

The women who helped me today was amazing. I have a really severe tree nut allergy and had asked her to pick fruit slices that were furthest from the cashews, instead she opened a new box of slices that hadn’t been near any. It was such a simple action that made a really big impact. A wonderful kind act that made my day. Employees such as her deserve to be rewarded, she is the reason I will return.

Had a great experience shopping for presents today. The staff was super friendly & helpful. The selection of items was great and reasonable prices. They have these custom boxes that were fun to put together & they fill it with this crinkled filler when you're done. Highly recommend this place!

This was a blast from the past for me! I was out of state for many years, but still had so many fond memories of Sanders. My mom only bought Sanders candy and nuts at Easter time and Christmas, for gifting, or anytime. We would go to the one in Livonia Mall every chance we got.I didn't even realize that they had a store until my son took me there this weekend. OMGosh! To walk in there and get a whiff of all those familiar goodies. To be honest, I felt kind of overwhelmed, seems like everything in there was calling my name! I'm going to have to go back in now that I'm over the initial aroma sugar coma. Maybe I can actually make some choices this time! We did leave with several jars of the ice cream toppings. BTW, Parents! I believe that the REAL Santa is booked here for the season! And why not? I'm sure they're giving him free sugar fixes so he can keep up his strength for his yearly around-the-world all nighter. He's got a real twinkle in his eyes, ready to chat with the kids while you're there! (I was tempted to slip him MY Christmas list...he's OBVIOUSLY not just a helper-santa! He's DEFINATELY,Mr. C. himself! ?)⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Parking: More than enough on a Saturday, around 5. I was amazed at their store hours... every can make it in, even after work!
