I grew up in Cheboygan and have been a regular customer at Cheboygan Big Boy for the last 40 years of my life since i was a little girl. I have lots of memories there growing up spending holidays at Big Boy and time with living and lost family members.Tonight my family and I came into Big Boy between 5:30 and 6:30 pm. Tuesdays kids eat for free usually the service, quality of the food, time spent waiting is hit or miss but not tonight, We lucked out and got in our favorite waitress Gloria's section who always gives us great service.I gave her a hard time about the soup of chorse cause I was a former cook but the Fresh deep fried cod made up for it and when I spoke to the manager Jackie about it she explained again like Gloria that I could have fresh soup brought out to me from the kitchen which pleased me to know but Jackie as a manager there is doing a fabulous job there along with the ones we know by name and face who have served us our meals throughout the years like Gloria. I usually don't order fish because I am a former cook myself and make it at home so good why buy out but it was definitely worth it a huge plate of Fresh hot flaky cod I will definitely be coming back into Big Boy more often under this evening management thankyou Big Boy of Cheboygan for the experience of dining in.
Vegetarian options: My daughter is a 9 year old vegetarian and she enjoys the cheese quesadia off thr kids menu, the salad bar, and the shakes we usually fill up before dessert but the dessert menu is great too

Been coming here for years. It is time for some upkeep on the place. When you spend 40 dollars on a meal for two people, you do not expect to sit in a booth with big holes in the cushions or see sagging, stain ceiling tiles..

Took almost an hour for our food to come out once we ordered (there were only 4 of us in an almost empty restaurant) once we got our food the burgers were over cooked the fries tasted like they had been sitting under a hot light for over an hour, service was slow and to top it off when leaving the restaurant seen 2 employees outside sitting in there car not only did I smell it I seen them smoking pot!!!! Once they seen me they put it out... not happy with the food service the manager needs to step up their game.. will not be coming back!!!
I came in a around 8:30pm and had excellent service. Food was the best I've had in a while. Everything was so fresh. Mikayla was an amazing server. Always so friendly and polite. The manager on duty Jackie, I think her shirt said, was so friendly and polite and made sure we enjoyed everything. So pleased. Will definitely come back again.

Service was really slow. Tables weren't cleaned. Had the double big boy with fries, the fries were soggy. My wife had french toast, wich had the taste of meat. Was at the big boy in marquette few days earlier, ( had the big boy with crispy fries) , was very pleased to find a big boy on my roadtrip again. But no, not at all, its just the logo, the rest had nothing to do with the big boy franchise at all. I made this review because, we were the youngest couple in there, i dont think elderly people care a lot about reviews. The couple behind us, just left, not even finished their dishes. Another elderly couple weren't pleased either they waited longer for their dishes then we did and they were already seated when we entered. The management needs to change a lot at this place. Not recommending this place at all.

They are not like they used to be. Burger was so dry and over cooked I could hardly swallow it. Even with a drink of water. One of the worst burgers I've ever had.

it smells ,food sucks i get sick every time i eat there, horrible describing food, no pictures of all meals to even give u a idea to look up for, they are horrid - bearly the cookies they sell are good enough,i got try hope for good one to get taste of out mouth, thank god cheboygan is better. rather eat Claire gas station food.
