We stayed at the Chateau for a boys dirt bike weekend. It was perfect! Clean and comfortable rooms with super friendly staff. My group are simple creatures... give us a nice place to sleep that's close to the trails and we are happy! The single track loop starts less than a mile down the road with north and south options. Being able to walk out of our hotel room and jump on our bikes is heaven for us. On top of that, the restaurant was awesome! Food was top notch and our server was a full comedy show! We are already talking a out planing our spring trip there.
A little out of the way but worth it. Food and service were great. Awesome views and cool atmosphere.
Ate at the Eagle's Nest restaurant without staying there. Great service and food! The menu was somewhat limited with additional offerings on the daily special board. I got the wet burrito, which was awesome. Great value and atmosphere. We will definitely go back!
Getting there has been difficult, twice now. We went this time to meet cousins who were staying for the weekend and planning to do trail riding. We had a great fish dinner with them and enjoyed the dining room and chatting outside the lodge room they'd rented.
I have been to the Eagle’s Nest for dinner several times over the past few years. They used to have a great menu but I recently came back to what is basically a menu of bar food. The food tasted fine but I was disappointed with the decline of what was being offered.

Dined at the attached restaurant. Food was very good, service a bit on the slow side. Very friendly though. It's only open on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Also, a little off the beaten path (depending on how you get there, you may have to take a stretch of gravel road). Definitely worth the trip.
Currently open Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Food has been good, so has service. Just don't be in a hurry.
Food was good.. no waitress for 30 minutes. Two hour wait for our meal. Coleslaw was supposed to be part of our meal, but they ran out. No substitute or price break.
Sara was an AMAZING waitress! Very kind!

Great food and wonderful staff. Great hidden gem
the fishing is nice for sunfish and perch at the lake in front of it, the food is nice and the drinks are nice and the rooms are nice, just everything is nice, the only kind of bad thing about it is it's in the middle of the forest, but the really good thing is it's on a lake.
We went there for a prime rib dinner special on Valentines day that they advertised on FB. Not sure what's going on there but it took forever just to get an order taken and 1.5 hrs later we left after never being served our meal. Talked to the owner before we left to let him know our party of 4 are walking out. We should have followed the numererous others that walked out sooner but we were really hoping to get our meal.
They fired the best staff they had in a long time. The favorite bartender is no longer there. She was the life of the bar. Bring back Stephanie. I know they are losing alot of people who won't be back because of the change in staff.
Nice place with great customer service. The restaurant Eagles Nest has excellent food! We got a Reuben and french dip and both said they were the best we have ever had!! Great beer selection too!
