It was a quaint and nostalgic small restaurant that reminded me of times gone by. The staff was very friendly, we got in quickly, and the food was good! We enjoyed it and thought it was a good price for the amount of food you got. Overall we would recommend!

The food was amazing. I had the ribs and a baked potato. The ribs were fall off the bone tender. My husband had the Parmesan encrusted whitefish with mashed potatoes and gravy. The mashed potatoes were from real potatoes and the fish was very tasty. The service was great, funny and very welcoming. We plan to come back

Ignore the exterior... this place is great. Everyone is very friendly. The food is excellent and well portioned for the price. Perfect pan fried walleye. The basket of breaded mushrooms and onion rings was huge and the breading was crispy and light. If you like beer try the Cheboygan Brewery Duncan Bay IPA.
Absolutely superb dining and service here. The Great Lakes whitefish was cooked to perfection, and the meal was certainly filling. The bread is a nice touch to go with the salad, and both were very tasty. I love the fact that the owner is out working amongst the servers, and very friendly with the guests. The interior is immaculately clean, nearly resembling a fine dining experience just without pretentious prices. Can't wait to return.

We called in an order and were told it would take 20 minutes. We arrived in 20 minutes and still waited over half an hour. We watched other people come in, place orders, wait a short time and leave. We ordered one soup and one chimichanga. It clearly tasted like it had sat awhile and they forgot the salsa and sour cream. Very disappointed.

No apologies for letting me sit for a take out order. Phoned in order at 6:38..was told 10 minutes. Arrived at 6:50.. paid and waited until 7:45 until I was asked if I had been helped. I watched a family of 6 come AFTER me, ordered, ate paid and left. I watched two other couples get seated, ordered, ate and left. I had to unfortunately get rude about it and asked three seperate waitresses. SUDDENLY my order mysteriously pops out and handed to me with no apologies. Took back to hotel, 3 minutes around the corner.... You guessed it. COLD, forgot sour cream and the salsa. ... Good luck with this place. I've never written a bad review in my life. This is my first. Not sure what their fresh cooked food is like... But microwaved an hour after order...didn't work . Sorry Cheboygan.

They kept telling us they were running behind, which is fine, but when people call in orders be more accurate in the time you tell them. Soup was way too salty and they forgot the salsa and sour cream that comes with a chimichanga. Very disappointed.

The entire experience was AMAZING. The food was OUTSTANDING and BRIE was such a sweet young lady. Great personality and kind. Steak to perfection and the White Fish was the tastiest ever. We’ve been visiting my husbands hometown and this was the best. Thank you to the entire staff 👍👍
