Another amazing stay with our great friends at Secrets on Main!!! Such a relaxing weekend stay with thoughtful touches all through out the house that make you feel more like family than just a guest! We love staying here and would suggest it to all!
This bed and breakfast is wonderful. Teri and Laurie are so kind and interesting people. They welcomed us into their home like family. The rooms are so unique and creative I absolutely want to go back! The breakfast was really yummy and served family style, giving a nice social touch to the other people staying :) The art work is amazing and the stories were heartwarming. Thank you both for the tips for out travels! :)

Our experience with Secrets on Main was fantastic! Terry and Laurie are MOST hospitable - open, warm, flexible, service oriented, and we feel like we have new friends. The creativity they put into their home renovations is off the chart. Each room totally unique. It’s located perfectly within walking distance of everything in Charlevoix. We truly cannot say enough good things about it. Oh, and the breakfast … spectacular!

Such a delightful experience! Our room ( the crackerjack room) was so fun and full of details that took time to discover! The hosts welcome all guests as if they are already part of their family. When you leave it is as if you are saying goodbye to family! Such a great place to visit!!!

We loved our stay at Secrets on Main! Laurie and Terry are super welcoming and a lot of fun! The house is beautiful and the rooms are very comfortable and cute. We stayed in the Truffles room and loved every moment of our stay. They have a lot to do there and it's in a great location close to the ferry. We are looking forward to going back next year
Food & drinks: Laurie's breakfast is the best food I've ever tasted. You'll save a lot of money too!

It’s the best B&B I’ve ever stayed at. The owners go out of their way to accommodate you. It’s a wonderful location and spotlessly clean. Breakfast is the best!
This is a B&B experience, the town of Cheboygan may not be the tourist mecca that Mackinaw is, but this place is worth the stop. Theamed rooms, fantastic breakfast, and warm and gracious hosts.

Terry and Laurie are wonderful hosts. They’ve put a great deal of time and effort into rehabbing a 130 yo Victorian style house on the Main Street. Their results are stunning. Each of the 7 rooms is done in a different theme; each is very well done with interesting details. The breakfast are wonderful meals. You won’t leave hungry.
This bed and breakfast was a dream come true. Upon arrival we were given a brief tour of the place and Laurie announced that she had the taste for peanut butter cookies. We agreed that this was an excellent idea. While cookies baked we enjoyed sitting outside first on our bedrooms balcony (The double bubble gum room) and then out on the front porch. Cookies were served fresh from the oven! Being an avid coffee drinker I was delighted when Terry freshly ground a local coffee (it was so good I bought a bag of beans) so enjoyed that first thing. The breakfast, served on real china was superb. Laurie had a taste for blueberry pancakes (I love her logic) with local maple syrup, lightly peppered candied bacon and pepper jack cheesy scrambled eggs. The serving was more than enough and there must have been 3 pounds of thick cut bacon on a platter for all of us. Enjoying this meal together we got to share our experiences and joys of vacationing and how we happened upon coming to stay in Cheyboygan. Just as a sign posted in the dining room stated... "Enter as guests, but leave as friends." It was such a refreshing and enjoyable time, and seemed as if we had known each other for years. Our room was amazing. From the stars shining on our ceiling to our bed fitted into an actual 1961 GMC pickup truck, complete with tail light and license plate, headboard made from the cab and lit with various tools tucked away inside. It was fun, innovative and a comfortable bed to boot! Absolutely one of the best, if not the best, bed and breakfast's we've stayed at. We will be going back, for certain!
Warm hospitality in a heritage home, featuring quirky and original bedroom decor, and a lovely breakfast in an elegant dining room served on real china. It was very special to celebrate July 4th with the hosts and their friends on the wide front porch gazing at the multiple fireworks displays that night, As Canadians, we felt welcomed and included. Great recommendation to eat at the marina for dinner (delicious fresh walleye). This was a memorable visit.

We stayed in the Crackerjack room July 1st-4th. The room is amazing and very comfortable, we overslept twice while staying there because of how comfortable the bed is. The entire house is beautiful and clean. They even have a cute little area where you can paint, they even provide the canvas and paint. I can't say enough wonderful things about Laurie and Terry. They go above and beyond to make sure you're comfortable. We were so happy with our trip that we can't wait to go back. We will surely we staying here again. The area is great and there are plenty of things to do within walking distance.

We stayed here for its proximity to Mackinac Island without knowing anything about Cheboygan. The house is about a block away from a charming downtown with lots of great food/drink options. The House itself is meticulously cared for by its owners who have done a wonderful job restoring the house and making it their own fun/quirky creation. The breakfast was amazing, and the hosts made us all feel comfortable engaging in conversation on the morning of our departure. We had originally planned to stay on the island, but nothing was available due to our not planning far enough in advance. After visiting the island we realized that we had accidentally made an amazing choice! We do plan to visit Mackinac again someday, and plan more in advance, but will once again stay at Secrets on Main!
Super hosts, nice location walkable to town Hotspots, great breakfast and cool rooms. High recommend!
