Adorable little mead & cider house. Super charming and the drinks were all so good! We got flights, one of meads, one of ciders and we surprisingly liked the meads more than the cider - but that doesn't mean the ciders were bad! They were all delicious! So glad we stopped by after dinner :)
My top 3 (out of 8 sampels) in order were: • Ambrose Wild Ginger Mead • Ambrose Rythm & Blues Mead • Julian Forbidden Fruit Black & Blue Cider
They have the nicest people working here. It is very relaxed and there are cards, board games, and Jenga you can play. They do not serve food. They have some craft beer but mostly cider and mead. They have liquor and mixed drinks as well. There is live music once a week.

We recently held my mom's memorial at Hive North, and we couldn't have asked for a better venue. This great, intimate location provided the perfect setting for our gathering, allowing us to celebrate my mom's life in a warm and comfortable environment. The atmosphere was just right for our family and friends to come together and share memories.
The staff at Hive North were truly wonderful and supportive throughout the entire process. From the initial planning stages to the day of the memorial, they were attentive, compassionate, and went above and beyond to ensure everything went smoothly. They were very accommodating with all our requests and wishes for the memorial. Their kindness and professionalism made a challenging time much easier to navigate.
One of the standout features of Hive North was the bar area, which offered a great selection of drinks. It was a lovely touch that added to the overall experience, allowing us to toast to my mom's memory with excellent drinks in hand.
We highly recommend Hive North for anyone looking for a welcoming and intimate location with exceptional staff and great drink options. It truly made my mom's memorial a beautiful and memorable occasion.

Love this place! What wonderful, welcoming service and excellent drinks. Multiple Cheboygan trips are in our future, solely to visit this gem of a place.
We were treated like friends, and our dog was welcome and spoiled with treats. Stuck around an extra night just so we could have another round at The Hive North.

This place is the CUTEST! It has coffee shop vibes, so very relaxed and welcoming? Angie was wonderful and very knowledgeable about their selection. Drink slushies were delicious. AND they have instruments and games you can play, as well as plenty of seating. So glad we found this place for our vacation and happy we came to visit!

This place and the people are hands down the best we've ever encountered, anywhere! From California to Georgia to Hawaii we've never encountered a more welcoming and friendly atmosphere. Oh and they have good products too.
Kid-friendliness: They have all kinds of games and activities for kids and families.
Wheelchair accessibility: Located on the first floor with ready wheelchair access. The bathroom is up a couple of steps though.
