The TripAdvisor reviews were really good so we were excited to go. We sat outside but waited forever for a server. We really didn’t mind because the music was nice. The owner came by and asked if we had been waited on and we told him no. He seemed shocked and called his wife over to tell her. We still were not bothered, until she said, “I’ve been over here several times—you should’ve told me.” She then stopped by to say that again. Classic case of adding insult to injury. When the server came over finally, he said he had too many tables and was also “going through some stuff.” We had a bottle of wine but left without eating. When I looked again at the TripAdvisor reviews, most had only one review. Make of that what you will. I fully expect to receive an annoying rebuttal to this.

We didn't eat. Went to the Lark theater, which is inside. A great place for any show, there is no bad seat in the place. Very intimate, it only holds about 75 people. Go online, find a show, and go check it out for yourself.

After a week travelling the UP with our dog and struggling to find places to eat with her this place was a breath of fresh air. Super dog friendly with both owners spending time talking with us and bringing our dog water. You can tell they care about the place and it's refreshing to see such an emphasis on food service.
Excellent food, special mention for the baked Brie, but also the cauliflower crust pizza. Beautiful back patio with live music. I only went inside briefly but could tell that a lot of love had gone into the interior design and theming. The bathroom sinks reminded me of a resort.
We always go every August when we come to Cheyboygan from Texas. We enjoy the Wednesday night concerts very much. Food was good and the servers are always friendly.
We came in for a drink after seeing it on Under the Radar Michigan show. We are even met one of the owners and he was very friendly and thanked us for visiting. Beautiful establishment.

Parking Lot Pub is an ideal summer alternative to experience the outdoors with an interesting menu with locally sourced options well prepared. Our server Bo was attentive and courteous. And, the outdoor space is pet friendly. Live entertainment adds to the experience.
