I love this little bar! Had my first Rum Runner & it was delicious. My sister brought me to all her favorite places in Cheboygan & this was one. It’s in same building as other quaint beautiful shops. Cheers!

Price..lame..food..lame..the people were awesome. The atmosphere is interesting and descent, albeit wierd for the area. But i wont rag on that. Overall, the food and price is what got me. Maybe the bangers and mash isn't the move. 20+ for some bland mashed and gravy and sausage is the 1 star. And they were out of the chicken pot pie, 1 of the 5 available dishes. And thats hyperbole, but cmon...they've got the theater aspect. Maybe leave the food to the chefs...

An Absolute Gem in Cheboygan!

The Queens Head Wine Pub is an absolute must-visit! The atmosphere perfectly captures that cozy, traditional English pub feel — warm, inviting, and full of charm. From the moment you walk in, you feel transported.

The food was outstanding! The Bangers and Mash were cooked to perfection — hearty, flavorful, and comforting. But the real showstopper? The baked brie wrapped in a flaky croissant crust — pure decadence and absolutely divine.

The staff is friendly and welcoming, and there’s even a fun surprise — ask about the hidden door! It’s a delightful touch that makes the experience even more memorable.

While you’re there, make sure to explore their sister establishments: The Pig N’ Whistle, Cap & Ale, Simply Marcella, and The Lark Theatre. Each one offers its own unique experience and adds to the charm and character of Cheboygan — you won’t want to miss them!

If you’re in the Cheboygan area, do yourself a favor and stop here. Great food, great wine, and a truly phenomenal atmosphere — it’s everything you want in a pub and more!

ADORABLE establishment! Can't say enough about this wonderful place! The owners were so pleasant, gave us a tour of all their buildings. We had a great a drink and a appetizer on the patio with live music. Got some great clothes and jewelry at attached store Simply Marcella. Highly recommend!

The Southwest Chicken salad was great and the owner, John had the best hospitality that I’ve seen in a long time. Thank you!

The TripAdvisor reviews were really good so we were excited to go. We sat outside but waited forever for a server. We really didn’t mind because the music was nice. The owner came by and asked if we had been waited on and we told him no. He seemed shocked and called his wife over to tell her. We still were not bothered, until she said, “I’ve been over here several times—you should’ve told me.” She then stopped by to say that again. Classic case of adding insult to injury. When the server came over finally, he said he had too many tables and was also “going through some stuff.” We had a bottle of wine but left without eating. When I looked again at the TripAdvisor reviews, most had only one review. Make of that what you will. I fully expect to receive an annoying rebuttal to this.
