Smokehouse 52 BBQ - Chelsea Reviews
Need to staff the restaurant correctly or close off sections if short staffed. Service was slow, food was cold and not as good as it usually is.
Delicious food, creative and tasty drink menu, & and phenomenal service from the hostess at the door to the servers. They’re doing it right here!
The prices they charge isnt fair for what you actually get in return. Way too skimpy on the meat.

Smokehouse 52 BBQ is a restaurant that offers a delightful dining experience. The aroma of the food hits you as soon as you walk in, making you eager to try everything on the menu. The restaurant's beautiful atmosphere and main street location in Chelsea add to the overall ambiance.
The food at Smokehouse 52 BBQ is described as good, with the smoked wings and Brussels sprouts receiving high praise. The smoked wings are juicy and have a pronounced smoky flavor, complemented by a tasty Parmesan dipping sauce. The Burnt End Melt, while lacking in meat, still delivers on flavor. The spare ribs, though not spectacular, are improved with the addition of the restaurant's original barbecue sauce. The mac and cheese is creamy and rich, making it a crowd-pleasing side dish. The restaurant also offers vegetarian options like greens, mac & cheese, sweet potato fries, and green beans.
Service at Smokehouse 52 BBQ is highly valued, with many customers emphasizing its quality. One reviewer mentioned that great service is the most important factor and expressed their intention to visit again. The staff is attentive and patient, guiding diners through their choices. Accessibility is mixed; there are no steps, but the bathroom is not accessible. Parking is available on the street, often requiring a walk a few blocks down the street.
Recent visitors note that the food is generally good, with some dishes, such as the chicken sandwich and burnt ends, being enjoyed. An appetizer of cream cheese with onion and house-made chips was praised for its simplicity and flavor. However, some concerns were raised about food temperature, with a recent visit mentioning lukewarm food and stale cornbread, which is disappointing given the price. The drinks, however, received high praise as the most superior part of the meal. Overall, Smokehouse 52 BBQ remains a popular spot for its atmosphere, service, and flavorful barbecues.
