They don’t take food allergies seriously, no thank you.

Belated review here! Stopped in to pick up our registration packets for the Ugly Dog Triathlon that they sponsored and stayed for a carb loaded dinner before the race! Outstanding food, clean place, great selection of beer & spirits. Sat at the bar and the bartenders were friendly, talked to us about their spirits, and right on top of everything. Highly recommended - even though I do have a bone to pick with them! I won my age class in the triathlon and was looking forward to taking home one of their prized fifths - but since I was the only entrant in that age group they just gave me a glass! Really? You couldn't spare an extra fifth for an old man completing his first triathlon! LOL!

First found out about Ugly Dog Distillery over Thanksgiving weekend. We were camping at Portage Lake campground. Enjoyed it so much, we stopped in again when we were in town for a hockey tournament. Heather and Ashley were so fun to talk to and are very knowledgeable about the products, the business and the area! Hopefully in the future a small food menu could be added to an already amazing venue. Ie: charcuterie, chips & salsa, pasties, deli sandwiches & chips etc… Keep up the great work! Always best. I like the gin here. Last time when I went to Michigan, I couldn't buy it due to lack of traveling time to visit Chelsea. Next time when I visit, I will buy again. Definitely.
My first time at Ugly Dog and it won’t be my last! The live music was awesome, but what really made the night was Ashley, our bartender. She was super real, had such a great vibe, and made the experience unforgettable. If you’re looking for a fun night with great drinks and energy, definitely come here and hope Ashley’s behind the bar!

Heather and Ashley took care of me on a recent trip to Michigan. I feel like everyone I saw come in was a regular. Everyone was joking around and knew each other. It was a really great vibe. The drinks were great and I even saw a couple dogs that were anything but ugly.

Yes Ugly Dog has good drinks but make sure you keep your eyes on your drink at all times, I know several women who have been systematically drugged at Ugly Dog so I will never go back, management doesn't seem to take it seriously and is not proactive about prevention. Very scary.

Came with my cousin for some Pink Poodle drinks. Sounds & Sights had been canceled due to inclement weather, so there was a band playing inside. It was loud enough that you couldn't really hear the conversation, but the Pink Poodle was pretty good. Also had a mojito. They were both strong pours. ?
