Big Rock Coffee is everything I want in a coffee shop experience. The drinks are high-quality with countless delicious options, the environment is cozy and friendly and supports all sorts of small independent creators, and the owners are truly some of the kindest, warmest people you'll meet. I live on the east coast but everytime I'm in mid-Michigan visiting family, I try to stop in. Somehow they always recognize me and ask after my family. Big Rock Coffee is all the best things about Michigan, small towns, family-owned businesses, and cafes.

Love this place. It’s so cute and displays beautiful and unique local art for sale. The owners are very, very kind and friendly. They have the best pastries, I especially love their pink cupcakes. It’s also kid friendly, with children’s books and toys which is quite unique for a coffee shop.

What a great coffee and bakery shop. I stopped here looking for a dessert after having lunch at the showboat restaurant next door. The owner explained all their pastries and which ones were the most popular. They also have a vast, competitive priced menu of expressos, lattes, non coffees and everything in between. I enjoyed a chocolate chip covered scone and a 20 ounce mocha latte.Very open and relaxed vibe. Flattop tables, couches, chairs and mellow music. Local crafts and artwork for sale. Excellent customer service. I overheard that they have only been open since May 2023. I wish them continued success and would highly recommend.

We were passing through town and stopped in for coffee and a dessert. The coffee was delicious! The cinnamon sticky buns are amazing as well as the chocolate no bake cookies.
We love the atmosphere! Modern but warm.
The owners are so friendly.
