Super friendly staff! Their "chocolate over cherries ? " specialty beer was fun and tasty. So was their Reuben sandwich.
They have two pool tables but my buddy cleaned my clock with his queue stick during our game, so obviously my queue must have been defective? I'm going with that story and "sticking" to it -

As a frequent bar hopper I can honestly say this pub is by far my favorite. The food is always good and we'll worth the cheap prices. The bar tenders are attentive and very nice. The owners make it a homey place, go there a few times and you are apart of the family. I can go there on a Friday night and have an adult blast and I can also take my kids on a Tuesday afternoon to play a few games of pool on the always good condition tables. will recommend this pub for a good time for your family or by yourself.

Apparently the people that run McFarlans Gathering Place in Chesaning are in the habit of giving raffle prizes won to whomever they please as it suits them after telling the winner about it and then offering a 'lunch' to make up for it.
