Just stopped in to the store on 23 mile at Gratiot, in Chesterfield after having dinner at a restaurant next door (10/11/25, 6:40pm). I was excited because I had never been there before and wanted to give them a try. After having to place the order on a touchscreen that was smeared with God knows what all, the young man came over, flipped the screen, tapped a few times and took my cash. During this transaction, I noticed 2 things: He was actively engaged in a continuing conversation with the other person working there, so no engagement with the customer other than saying “$15.99”, and he never took his gloves off. (I guess that explains the gunk on the screen.) He then went right back to working with food…with the same gloves on! Huge turn off. My thoughts are: if you’re going to robotically go through the motions in the process of doing your job, the part of the electronic transaction I had to participate in on the touchscreen that asks for a tip, is an automatic NOPE. But, more importantly, if you can’t bother to engage with the person supporting the business that supports you, could you at the VERY least, observe the basic rules of food safety and remove the gloves after handling money before going back to handling food? Makes me question what other unhygienic practices go on there.

**Had a bite of one of the cookies and they’re not cooked all the way. The only flavor in them is from the chocolate chips, otherwise they taste like nothing. My fingers are actually greasy from handling them. I’m taking away another star. Very disappointing across the board.
The cookies here are delicious! & the staff is even better! When I needed help, the manager was very friendly & kind. The other employees are also great! Love this place! =)
