Just had possibly the worst restaurant experience of my life. The food was all cold no matter what you ordered. The restaurant was really dirty. There were fruit flies surrounding us. They sat us right by the restrooms when the whole restaurant was open. The restaurant itself was very cold and when we asked if they could turn up the heat or anything, the waiter just told us that we had to deal with it if they have to deal with it, the customers have to deal with it. Would not recommend this big boy to anybody.

I Went here for dinner with my husband and daughter. I watched a worker carry plates and bowls and balance the bowls off her chin.. then waited 35 min for food and only a few people in the restaurant! The waitress didn't check on us. The food was not worth what we paid. We left the restaurant with full plates on the table. We won't be back.

In a fit of nostalgia we decided to eat at Big Boy in Clare. Service was very good. Not quick at first but much better as the meal went on. Attentive waiter. The food was so-so. The Slim Jim was kind of tiny and sad. The roll was not toasted. Cheese was not melted. Sauce was bland, more like mayo. Not the tangy tarter sauce of old. Onion Rings were bland. Not crispy crust with a sweet onion inside. Maybe it's time has come and gone.

If I could leave a 1/4 star I would...not impressed... thought we would give it a try even after a DoorDash from the restaurant took 2 hours to get five miles away. Well thought absolutely wrong....hello if we are ordering soup or chilli and ask for extra crackers that means I want cracker!!!! With extra!! Nope not a single cracker in my bags....asked for extra ketchup and guess we didn't need any of that either. Do NOT recommend this place ever for anyone

I hadn't been to a bobs big boy in years and I was so excited to be in Michigan and be able to try it again. I will say that this location is rough. Service is a little rough. There were flies inside that got annoying after a while.
Nasty... servers shirt was covered in food like it hadn't been washed in weeks. Service was very slow. No coffee refill was offered.

I ordered a southern omelette it was good except for the gravy the gravy was not southern at all it didn't have any sausage in it but the omelette was delicious.
