Really cool atmosphere and fantastic list of amazing tasting drinks, that aren't over the top expensive. Food could use some improvement. Some great items on the menu, but not as tasty as the description. I'd recommend eating before you go and reserve your time & $$ for the drinks.
We went specifically to see Izzy Joy, not our first time here and when we arrived there weren’t any tables available and was told by the young man that the next available table would be ours and we said we would wait at the bar. A table back in the corner came available which was by the people we were with, at the same time 4 people walked in ( we were only 3 at the time) and when I asked the young man if that open table was ours he said he didn’t know and then it was given to the party of 4! When I questioned why he went back on his word a bartender stepped in and said the table was reserved- how coincidental that it opened up right when the party of 4 walked in after we had been waiting 20 minutes. Fifteen minutes later we finally got a table and our party then grew to 5. Izzy is going to be back on July 31st and I already have plans with friends to go ( again we will only be 3!) so on the way out I stopped to make reservations and was told WE DON’T TAKE RESERVATIONS!! I said what?? We were denied a table because of it being reserved??!! Such blatant disrespect!!! The shrimp I ordered was very good but the rice was cold! Our server was awesome!! The young man and the bartender who lied and disrespected us was the downfall!! If you want to be respected go some where else in Clare!!!
Came here going through Clare. We got a flight and the drinks were good. Had 3 sushi rolls for dinner, but the rolls were very rice heavy and way too big. Rolls seemed to have very small amount of filling, but so much rice. Rice was also pretty dry.
The booth next to us filled with immature grown woman and their husbands decided to open the curtain and peek their head through and watch us while we dined. After I asked if I could help them, she laughed, faded back to her table and was whispering with her party. That made us want to leave immediately.
We loved this place!! The drinks were excellent and the atmosphere was so fun. They had live music but they sat us directly infront of it and that was a little much. Next time we will ask to be seated elsewhere as it was just so loud. But all in all I loved it and will definitely be back!
Awesome place with a great variety of drinks and a great atmosphere.
Delicious food and drinks
Loved everything!! The bartenders, the food, the drinks, the vibe. 100/10! Jen in particular was awesome!
Easily one of Michigan's hidden gems. I can't believe the atmosphere and the food. Service was too notch. I honestly can't go on and on enough about this place. 11/10.
The only reason I am not giving 5 stairs is due to the wedding that was taking place above your head. It was quite loud. This was our first time and the food, atmosphere and service was great. We will definitely be back- just likely not on wedding nights.
We have had food and drinks here a few times now. The food is pretty good and the drinks they mix are great. It feels like a true speakeasy and the attire the staff wears helps that effect.

Parking: it is pretty fun that you are in a basement (with flair!). very unique - feels like a 1920s speakeasy! highly recommend!
