Absolutely horrible food. We ordered an 8 slice pizza , breadsticks and a medium salad. The pizza was dry and hard to chew, the dressing container was 3/4 full the bread was actually good. The cost was $53. That’s insane first off but for that price it should have been much better. Definitely not the quality of the restaurant quality

The pizza and breadsticks were just room temperature. We did have to put them in the oven to warm them up. The pizza wasn't cooked all the way through also. I know it's cold outside so that could've had an impact on the temperature of the items. This was a delivery order.

The pizza was great this time, 6 Mile for me. I appreciate this location focus on getting better. Might come down to the owners of this site comparing to the other best rated Buddy’s locations. I usually hit the one in Warren and they always provide a top notch pizza and salads. I got the antipasto salad and it was pretty good. The original dressing was fine but the oil and vinegar were not mixed, so when you pour out the oil goes first. Try using a robot coup mixer and add the oil slowly while mixing. The bread I got was no good, the dough was dead or dying when baked, so the bread sticks came out like tough little bricks. As a former pizza chef, it’s hard to throw away bad product, but it’s worse to take a chance and lose future sales over bad decisions in the kitchen. I’ll still give you 4 stars for improving but I can only give you so many chances to provide the best possible product. Put your customer hats on before sending the food out of the kitchen to the counter.

It was a doughy skimpy mess! Hardly any pepperoni. It was not cooked. Doughy. Skimpy on the cheese.
We ordered pizza, wings and salad and cheese bread from here tonight and it was awful. I’m so disappointed, it must just be this location because we love buddys pizza but the pizza and breadstick were dry and over cooked. The wings had so much fat on them it was gross. The only thing that was good was the antipasto salad.

Ordered 2 pizzas last night. One gluten free and one regular, both very doughy. Called and spoke with someone there last night. They stood on the other end in silence, not even a apology. Not going back.

Buddy’s Pizza is hands down my favorite spot for Detroit-style deep dish. Locally owned and consistently delicious, I always go for The Detroiter—perfectly crispy crust, cheesy goodness, pepperoni, and that signature sauce layered on top. Their cheese bread is addictive, and the house-made vinaigrette on their fresh salad is a must-try. Whether you’re dining in or grabbing takeout, Buddy’s delivers every time.
