wow- $43 for two people is a lot, especially given the fact we ordered through a drive thru. long wait, and the slider buns were unfortunately very dry - usually all forgiving however service wasn’t friendly, either.

Not many places couple the recent fad of smashburgers with award winning opera, but Bunkhouse has mastered this balance. We ordered 2 burgers as "O Sole Mio" by pavarati was belted out by a 14 year old cashier. Our our souls were floating as the melodic notes filled the restaurant, it was almost an unwelcome distraction when our food came, breaking our focus on Bizet's "Habanera".... The burgers were a bit underwhelming for the price, and they did not come with fries or any sides.. So we spent $22 and got 2 burgers, a medium drink, and a broadway quality rendition of some classics.

Add fries to the burgers, its worth it.

When we walked in the lobby, we were almost immediately greeted and were ready to take our order.
Let me just say the food was fine. My daughter said her burger was delicious. I had 2 overpriced hotdogs ($4 each).
We also got a coke and it had bo carbonation in it. Literally just used it to rinse the food from my mouth, spit it out and threw it away.
We dined in the lobby, all 5 tables were dirty, and only saw one chair that I would consider clean(ish). The floors looked like they haven’t had a proper cleaning in more than a month. And by this, I mean the edges/corners have a lot of dirt/filth build up.
I should note, there were PLENTY of employees (5 or more) so lack of help was not the reason for the filth. They all seemed like high schoolers and it does bother seem like cleaning is part of the training.

I had half a thought to contact the health department because of how disgusted I felt. My biggest concern is, if the front house is how they want their patrons to see, WHAT ABOUT THE BACK? Maybe they just needed this brought to their attention to actually see it.

The quality has gone down and it’s pretty pricey for a drive thru place. It’s a step above your quick fast food joints. The burgers used to be really good but this recent trip it tasted like a frozen patty. And the menu changed, no more firecracker burger or turkey burger. Disappointing for the price.

1st time going & I wanted to love it and add to the great reviews.
Had a baseline combo, double baseline combo & chicken slider and onion rings. Burgers and fries were good. Onion rings were alright.
I cannot give a higher rating because of the 1 issue.
The chicken slider wasn't cooked.
Normally a chicken slider wouldn't even be cut in half but with it being our first time here we had a hard time deciding between chicken and burgers. Settled on burgers & we cut the slider in half so each could have a taste, and thankfully so.

Ordered online. For 630pm pick up
Waited in lobby for 18 mins still no order. Customers in drive through were receiving orders. So frustrating. Management didn't seem to care.

It's loud in here! The shake machine, the ice cream machine, miscellaneous other machines & processes kicking on & off, the music overriding all that causes the staff to have to yell to each other.
The menu is pretty diverse for a burger joint. Ordered the Hot Mess, a Nashville hot chicken sandwich (for $8.75) and an order non-seasoned fries (for $4.50!).
Sandwich was great, solid heat. The fries were good but for thee amount should've been 1/2 the price.
There is a large outdoor seating area gor more clement weather than late November.
I like that the containers aren't plastic. But upon reading, you find that, while compostable, they are only "commercially compostable". 🤦‍♂️
And it would be nice if, since they knew I was dining in, they at least asked if I wanted the plastic lid & straw (which I don't). Many places do this same thing. I don't need a lid or straw at home, why would I need one here? 🤷‍♂️
Last but not least, no publicly accessible bathrooms.

Vegetarian options: There is a vegetarian patty on the menu

Kid-friendliness: They should be fine.

Wheelchair accessibility: Double doors to enter. Slight hump at the threshold and the approach to it is uphill from the parking lot.

The service has significantly gone downhill! The kid who took our order first gave it to someone else and then would not correct it when he gave us the wrong order because he wrote it down wrong! Very disappointed. Will not be back again.

Best burgers i have had in a long long time.

I pass by this spot every day on the way home from work, and finally decided to stop by and get a double bacon jam burger with some fries. Be prepared to wait a little bit, everything is cooked fresh.
