Chicken shack has gotten worse every year. I was sure I received pigeon legs 🍗 the last visit they were so small. I asked her to put more butter on the potatoes but she barely added any. This may be my last purchase here. The location in grosse point Michigan is just as bad.

Staff that took the order over the phone was super sweet and polite. The staff that was at the counter was also polite and pleasant.
I ordered a 2 piece and chicken tender snacks. Both chickens were dry and chewy. The potatoes were also dry. Something changed a few years ago and it doesnt seem like its been for the better. I used to order the chicken bites but when the change happened they were inconsistent, small and dry so i decided to try the tenders, they were a nice size tender but not easy to chew.

Went to get food and to get a meal replaced because they messed up last time I ordered eight piece rib dinner when it was only six bones and the end of it was burnt hard leather and potatoes I ordered light butter and we're soaked in butter. I think his name was Nick and said my name would be there. I get there and it wasn't. A girl looked thru a book and didn't see my name. But my girlfriend was hungry so I still ordered and paid when my meal should of been replaced for this life time customer who may not be a customer no more. I had my receipt also. From the book it looks like they mess up alot. Then while we're eating couple people came in because food was made wrong and other persons didn't get everything they ordered. We didn't get my roll and my girlfriend didn't get her coleslaw. So I see a pattern here.
I will adjust or delete my review based on the outcome of this. But for now 0* stars on here and Google.

Worst food I've paid for in a while. Ribs in photo. I've eaten chicken shack for 40 years. What I had tonight was absolutely horrible. I don't even understand how you could possibly mess it up that bad. Greasy, burnt, dry, and old tasting. Corporate definitely needs to check-in on Clarkston.

I got reheated Chicken was so dry and the broasted potatoes were reheated as well , for 14 dollars it was an awful meal
I can't believe this place is still open.. I drove all the way from Auburn hills just to buy a rib dinner that had no butter on the potatoes and absolutely no sauce on the ribs whatsoever... Absolute worst experience I should have just stayed going to Pontiac where they will take your money seriously and treat your food like it's important... Allowing children that don't know what they're doing to run your business is a very bad thing... I'll be seeking a refund I don't want to hear thank you for my feedback I want my money

Wife came home with chicken and potatoes. Both were clearly fried twice to rewarm old food that had sat around. So much oil it seeped through the containers and onto the car floor.
Took one bite and oil burst out like a gusher fruit snack. Super nasty.
Save your money.

You could tell that everything here (the lobby, tables, bathroom) hadn't been cleaned in quite some time. The food was terrible. I only ate it because we spent so much on it ($13 for a 3pc chicken tender meal). They definitely missed the mark.
