Avoid this place, you can find better options elsewhere. Ordered Moo Shoo and they didn't give me the pancakes and only gave me a tiny container of hoisin, dish was watered down and had little flavor, the other order was pork lo-mein, pork was tough and dry, noodles were thick, like fat spaghetti and the dish was very bland with hunks of green onions that were not chewable. The real kicker was the little egg rolls that were all dough, no flavor. How can a Chinese restaurant mess up egg rolls??? I thought they were pretty standard everywhere, I have never had a problem with buying egg rolls anywhere until this place. Oh, and it was really expensive for the portions. Much better food around town!!!

I have to say i was impressed with East Ocean during our visit a couple of days ago. I found the staff to be very friendly and attentive. We have generally gone to another Chinese restaurant closer to our home, but this is only a few minutes further and will become our new place. The spring rolls there are hand made to order and are very fresh and crispy, I asked for a recommendation on two dishes I was considering and our waitress recommended a completely different dish and said that the one she recommends would have more spice and more flavor, she wasn't wrong it was terrific. They also have a number of house made items like kimchi there as well, overall i would say we really enjoyed our food and staff, and found that they prepared items fresh, not from frozen like other restaurants we have been to, I am looking forward to returning and trying something new from their large menu.

We were shopping in the area and decided to stop here for lunch… and we’re so glad we did! Food was delish- the best almond boneless chicken, great egg rolls and wonton soup, a surprising General Tso’s lo mein, and excellent fried wontons. Service was friendly and efficient. We’ve found a new favorite restaurant!

Worst Chicken Looks Me in I've ever had. Wouldn't feed it to a stray dog.
I ordered carry out:- 4 hot rolls which they were hard as rock which mean they were old.- 2 sesame chicken, they included only 1 rice container instead of 2.Wont be coming back to this place
I got sweet and sour chicken for lunch and it was not good.The rice was dry and seemed like instant rice, and the sauce was very strange tasting - nothing like a traditional sweet and sour.
