We had the best service with Gabrielle she was super friendly and always smiling it’s hard to find positive attitudes these days my family is so happy we chose to come out and have dinner here last week. Thanks again Gabrielle stay positive and we’re definitely coming back in a couple weeks (we will ask for you)!!

This used to be one of the best mexican restaurants around. We would drive 30 miles to come eat. Not sure what has happened but service and attitude have crashed hard.
Waited an hour to receive cold food. Missing parts of the meal, had to ask several times to get something brought to table. Everyone took one of bite of cold food and didn't want to eat. Asked for a manager and was told to hold on....only to be told oh sorry there. Is no manager here. I said I don't really feel comfortable paying for this at this point of being in the restaurant for an hour and a half. I was told once again to hold on. After 10 minutes I asked the waitress if I am waiting for someone or should I just leave? She said oh would you like me to bring the bill or what do you want. I was brought a bill and told we can only refund the food that didn't get touched. I guess if you need to see if your food is still hot you should stick your finger in it?
Very disappointed, staff couldn't care less and it is obvious you coming in is an inconvenience to them. Hope the owner sees what has happened to the reviews in the last few months.

Went in for my birthday lunch with my cousin. We were greeted with menus and chips. We waited for our server for long enough we had to ask a passing server if she could take our order. Thankfully she did. Brought out refills and there was lipstick on the glass and it wasn't ours. That's just rude and disgusting. I never expected it to be that way there, usually nice and good food. And there were only 3 other tables in the whole place.

The worst tacos i've ever ate in my life.I bought the hard crunchy beef to go.I couldn't even eat them ridiculous.I'd much rather have taco bell.I shoulda went to trini and carmen's..Never again!

I have been here many times but this restaurant seems to have hit its apex and is on its way down. Hopefully the owners realize this and straighten things up. For starters the chips are not fresh but rather store bought, dry and break a tooth hard, it doesn’t help the red salsa had a hair in it. Make your kitchen staff use hair nets gross! I had a California burrito with steak. There was no flavor, I thought I was catching COViD for a minute, the steak pieces were so small they didn’t even count as a portion. My wife got the chimichanga, it was okay but not much to say about it. The two kids got a refill on there lemonade and who knew we would get charged, the waitress did not let us know, $16 for two powder lemonades, are we at the circus, I guess so. The wait staff was more attentive to there work friends and the corresponding social time than their customers. If another Mexican restaurant comes to town this place is in trouble. Even Chipotle has better food than these guys now.

My wife and I ate here 9/19/2025 and there was plastic cooked into my burrito. I discovered it literally on my last bite. I told the server as he took my card, and he came back with my receipt having charged me full price and said: “we’re looking into it, thanks for coming in”. No apology, nothing. It was a piece about the size of a nickel.
If a restaurant serves plastic in the meal, that meal should be free regardless of when the plastic was discovered.
Service other than that was far below average.
The Texas burrito is delicious, except for the plastic in it.
Not going back here, management should be absolutely ashamed and embarrassed.

The service here sucks. No one smiles they all look miserable. I finally, in order to get my bill, had to go up to the girl and say get off your phone and bring me my bill please. Had a bug on my tortilla chips. The food was like any other Mexican restaurant, nothing special. I have a picture of the bug on my tortillas but not sure how to put it on here.
Love the food! Unfortunately for such a small restaurant, the Mariachi band is too loud, making it impossible to talk. They are excellent musicians, just really unwelcome when you are trying to enjoy company.
