Great little local place with fantastic food. As you would expect lots of regulars on a weekday morning. Pumpkin pancakes were superb! Great texture fluffy without and overpowering pumpkin taste. Highly recommended if you are craving a comfort food breakfast.
I cannot believe I have been living less than 2 miles away from this restaurant and I finally tried it. It was AMAZING. My cousin told me that they have the best sausage gravy so I thought I’d give it a try. I ordered the southern omelette that comes with the hashbrowns inside of it and the Sausage gravy on top. It was PERFECTION. I can’t wait to go back. Service was excellent too.
I found myself in a weird position. I had dropped my car off down the road for repairs that should have been a quick repair. Long story short I walked down to Mel's to have breakfast and set up my home office. The staff was so awesome to let me take up some space for a few hours while my repairs were completed. They made me feel very welcome. The food was Awesome and the Customer service was indeed TOP SHELF. Thank you!
