I found myself in a weird position. I had dropped my car off down the road for repairs that should have been a quick repair. Long story short I walked down to Mel's to have breakfast and set up my home office. The staff was so awesome to let me take up some space for a few hours while my repairs were completed. They made me feel very welcome. The food was Awesome and the Customer service was indeed TOP SHELF. Thank you!
I like the atmosphere of Mel's. It's 4.5. The service is excellent from familiar waitresses. I usually get the big Joe with poached eggs, and that's excellent. Consistent over the past few years too. Nice patio, that doesn't get a lot of road noise from Sashabaw.
Do you ever go somewhere once every couple of years just to get the one thing on their menu that was good 10 years ago and see if they are doing better. ? this is that place for me. And as usual, they lived up to my memories. A quote from my daughter: "How can you burn pancakes and it be Soggy at the same time"
