Overall, a standard hibachi-style restaurant. The bar and waitstaff as well as the hostess were very kind. The floor of the bar was VERY sticky (not sure why). Food quality was great and the chef was good, but seemed a little tired. If you're looking for good hibachi, this is it...if you're looking for GREAT hibachi, you might want to pick a more nicely-appointed restaurant (and plan to pay a lot more - the quantityt of food for the cost was great here)..

Very disappointed. We were seated a little before our 6pm reservation but waited about 25 minutes after being seated to get drinks. Chef was quick but the steaks were so small and thin and overcooked, chicken was also small and thin and overcooked. For the cost, more steak and chicken is expected. We got filet mignon and it was sadly overcooked and did not even taste good. The sirloin steak at Blackrock is so much better! Sagano needs to improve before we will return

Food is consistently delicious. Servings always give us leftovers to take home which are good re-heated. All workers are kind and keep your drinks full.

Right when we walked in the atmosphere looked great and our server was extremely friendly and attentive. Our chef was great well, and the food was delicious. I’d say this is the best, highest quality Japanese steak house I’ve ever been to.

We waited over 30 mins to be seated for our reservation. You could tell they were way understaffed. While the food was good, the overall experience was not as good as in the past.

Had a reservation for 7:00 p.m. for a party of 7. 2 parties came in after us and got seated before us while my pregnant daughter waited and waited and was very hungry. I complained to the manager and she didn't seem to care at all and never came to our table to apologize OR give us a break on any of the food or anything. We waited 1/2 hour to get seated. Soup came out ice cold. Chef was fine. Waiter was fine, manager sucked. I've never been more disappointed and will never grace your restaurant with our presence again and that's a shame because I love the food and we usually fill the table. Too bad and I'll be sure to mention to everyone I know not to go there either.

Had a reservation and there was still a long wait, tried to get a drink at the bar and the hostess said that there was no bartender, so we could not get a drink. A few of the hostess were very rude. Also waited a long time to get sat and then waited a long time to order our food and get a cook. Clearly they're short staffed! I haven't seen this place look this dead ever in my life. The customer service was definitely subpar, unfortunately.
