Placed an order for 2 people (with apps and a dessert), picked it up and noticed some items were missing when we got home. Immediately called the restaurant. Person I spoke to (said his name was Kevin) said he would refund the cost of the missing items back to my card. He never did. Not sure if this is a scam or incompetence. Either way, we won't be back.

The sushi was delicious and recommendations were spot on. Staff was attentive even though it was busy for a Monday evening. We had to wait as there was only on trained sushi chef. Over half the tables were full and the take out business was hopping. I think they either short staffed or were surprised by the amount of business.

We were served by Ashton and Beckett, very polite and accurate service!!! The owner Sue came and welcomed us and so polite and kind. We got Avocado Bomb, dumplings, and fried crab for appetizers. Pregnant friendly foods as-well!! Crunch burrito (pregnancy friendly) is highly recommended! And the yum yum roll is also amazing! Friendly and welcoming atmosphere!

Let me tell you if you haven't tried Sushi Lover you need to do yourself a favor and go! The rolls are amazing! I cannot say enough great things about the food they put out. For me this is the only sushi place I go to and it's well worth it. Kevin & Taylor are sushi masters and deserve some serious praise!

I recently placed a mobile order through the website about an hour before the restaurant was supposed to be closed. I am very frustrated because me and my partner were looking forward to this because we often go here as a special treat because it’s not super close. We received a call shortly after placing the order saying that they are rejecting it because they decided to close early due to lack of business. In all of my life, working in fast food and retail, I have always been told that it is unprofessional and not okay to close early just because it is slow. Especially if you are still in the building there should be no reason to close early. I am extremely disappointed and I shocked to see that there are at least 4 other reviews saying the same thing. I hope to see some change.

Well, where do we begin? How about the atmosphere. The energy was clean and clear as soon as I walked through the door. The staff was friendly and open for communication.
The food. Shootout to Taylor, the mastermind behind the creation of the new sunset roll. The presentation is fabulous. The taste is smooth, a l8ttle hint of sweet followed with an enjoyable and rich finish and the crunch aspect is a great addition. The rest of the sushi was good and obviously made with fresh ingredients.
If you don't mind paying a little higher point for this sushi, then you shouldn't have any issues. The rice is cooked perfectly and the sushi rolls are nice and solid. Even a guy who can't really use chopsticks had no issues with the sushi roll breaking apart on its journey to my mouth! 5 stars all the way around.

Good sushi, but it seems a little on the pricey side and I could have used more wasabi. The wasabi was very week also so that is always a bummer. Overall the food was good and I would go back.

I’m not one to leave bad reviews but I am sick of places having terrible customer service and getting away with it, which has been the trend since Covid.

Don’t close your restaurant at earlier times than what is posted on your website and Google. Their hours state they were open until 10. My significant other and I spent time and energy going through the menu, figuring out what we wanted, and then pulling the car over to order carry out at 9:10, only to have them tell us they are closed when they pick up the phone. This killed our dinner plans as we had been returning from a long trip and had planned to eat here given their posted hours.

Unacceptable. Don’t post on your website and on Google hours that you aren’t going to stick too, because people will plan for you to be open only for you to ruin their plans because you felt like closing early that day.

Furthermore, the food is OK. Not top tier, but OK, which calls to question why should one put up with this sort of thing? As someone who had been in the restaurant business for years I can tell you that when management doesn’t adhere to their posted hours, it’s an indicator of the rest of the place not being run well. I can’t trust that from a place that sells raw fish especially. Get it together and make it right, and I’ll gladly take this review down.

Got some sushi and didn't eat much before I got a piece of fish bone stuck in my tonsil. I believe it was from the eel. Currently in the Mclaren Er getting it removed. Be cautious .
