I had an amazing experience at The Fed Community in Clarkston, Michigan! The Fed Burger with truffle fries was absolutely delicious and definitely lives up to all the hype. My coworkers raved about their dishes too, including the sweet and sour tempura cauliflower, chicken entrées, and the braised lamb pappardelle. Every plate that came out looked fresh, creative, and beautifully presented.
The atmosphere is fantastic—set inside a renovated historic bank building with a trendy yet welcoming vibe. It’s the perfect spot for dinner with friends, date night, or even a casual business meal. The drink menu is also a highlight, with plenty of craft cocktails, wine, and beer options to pair with the food.
If you’re looking for farm-to-table restaurants in Clarkston or want one of the best dinner spots in Metro Detroit, I highly recommend The Fed Community. Great food, great drinks, and a truly unique dining experience!

I reserved the Vault for my wife’s birthday, as she wanted to celebrate with her close family. Unfortunately, when we arrived, we discovered that the wrong date had been reserved and the Vault was already full. I am certain I provided the correct date when booking (and even have witnesses), but I overlooked the mistake in the confirmation email and missed the chance to correct it.
Despite this, the leadership team at The Fed stepped in immediately. Without hesitation, they rearranged tables and welcomed us with truly world-class service. Thanks to their quick action, what could have been a stressful situation turned into one of the most memorable birthdays my wife has ever had. The food was excellent, the service outstanding, and their dedication to making things right has earned them a loyal customer. I highly recommend this restaurant.

My husband and I dined at the Fed yesterday for a fun night out. Our waiter was amazing, very attentive and made some delicious recommendations. We started with the fried cauliflower which was delicious and reminded us of Chinese orange chicken but vegetarian style. Lol. It was delicious and we would order it again. We also had the goat cheese, pesto apricot and caramelized onion pizza which was so good and the pizza crust was perfect. Then for mains we tried the Piedmontese burger and fries and the blackened ahi tuna tacos. The tacos were very good, the tuna was cooked perfectly, however there was a lot of spice in the dish with the salsa and the blackened seasoning and it needed something creamy in my opinion to cut the heat. My husband's burger was not cooked to order, even though we asked for medium rare, it came out medium - overcooked, he thought the burger wasn't anything special and he wouldn't order it again. He thought the seasoning on the burger was lacking, saying that it needed more salt. The French fries were delicious in terms of flavoring but we're soggy and not crispy - we specifically asked for extra crispy as well. Despite the hiccup with the burger and fries, we really enjoyed our experience and would come back to try other items on the menu. We love that the food is all farm to table and how accommodating everyone was, the atmosphere is also just beautiful - elegance in a country style.

Had brunch at The Fed and it was fantastic. Outdoor dinning was great, and the inside is really stunning. Everything our four-top ordered was fantastic and service was kind and attentive. It's certainly more expensive than other restaurants around, but they do provide an upscale experience. If farm-to-table is valuable to you, then it's a pretty good deal. In other cities the farm-to-table brunch we had could have easily been double the cost.
Server Andrew was amazing. Me and my group had some diet restrictions and he went above and beyond for us.

We had friends visiting from out of town and reserved a special table for ease of conversation. There was a mishap, and the table wasn’t available. Upon speaking to the manager, I gave the name of the person who took my resy, and he was able to honor our original request. We appreciated his efforts and ended up enjoying a fabulous and memorable meal and evening. .
