I grew up in the upper peninsula, and I definitely love a good pastie. I found these to be small, kind of dry, and generally just very meh for the price. I mean really, almost $11 for a basic beef pastie? Definitely excessive for what it is.
The type of place we should all make an effort to support, wonderful staff and incredible pasties. Every bit as good as you will find in the UP. Really look forward to coming back for more. Get a hot one and fill your freezer too!
We're new to the state and figured we'd stop here after driving by a couple times. The staff is really friendly and the pasties are great! Try the apple or pepper jack beef it's really good.
