Outstanding food. Bar staff was great, kept checking on us without being overbearing. Cool vibe but lighting is a bit dark.

We purchased 2 lbs of brisket, 2 slabs of ribs and 2 lbs of pulled pork for pick up. Drove 30 min one way to pick it up as it has been a favorite of our and have had them cater parties for us. We reviewed the order twice on the phone as the women taking the order kept saying the wrong items. We verified twice! When we arrived the order was incorrect and had to wait to get it corrected.. By that time the rest of food was cold. We also ordered three different BBQ sauces. It was my fault i didn't check for that as it was directly on the receipt. Once i got home I called manager and she stated that she put the bags together but obviously forget all the BBQ sauce. We did not want to drive another hour round trip. She called the owner and offered us 10% off. But we purchased all these items (over $200) with no BBQ sauce at all . Will not return. There are better places with better service.

The service was way better than the food. I may be a bit bias because My husband and father make great bbq, but this wasn't it. I ordered a pizza for my daughter and bbq for myself. The pizza was better than the BBQ. Drinks were good also! I'd come back for the drinks, I'd come back due to the great service, I would not.return for the food.

Invited out by a friend to check out the special Halloween drinks at Wicked Shop Shop. We sat in the lounge part in front of the main bar and headed over to place an order. Pretty much tried all the available drinks between the four of us. 1st rounds: little shop shop of horrors, necromancer, poison apple, bloodsucker; 2nd round: nilla killa, zombie eh eh eh, beetlejuice, mr Crowley. Bar was busyyyy but drinks came out fast. Loved the fun elements for each - they were pluses on already pretty solid drinks.

Also ordered snacks and quite a bit of food to share. Started with the yummy fresh made chips and dips; byo charcuterie, Woodsticks, smoked & Nashville hot chicken wings, bbq burnt ends, fried pickles, and side of union Mac n cheese.

The Mac n cheese (sharp cheesy and creamy) is always amazing! 2nd best bite were the Nashville hot wings (juicy wings with a bit of a kick) with bluecheese. Followed closely by the woodsticks with soft cheese dip. I enjoyed the hot sausage, crackers and pickled vegetables on the charcuterie board too. That along with the briny pickles gave me a rest from the heavy cheese and meat filled feast we had.

Fantastic food! Friendly staff! Clarkston does not disappoint when it comes to great locally owned restaurants. The menu is set up in a way that allows you to try various items or go all in with one. One warning, this is not a quick in and out establishment, I'd recommend at least 90 minutes (it's worth it).

Dietary restrictions: There are gluten friendly options available, like Mac and cheese.

Retirement party upstairs. Very good venue for that event. I used Handicap Parking i the back. Somebody needs to repaint the 2 spaces. I had difficulty locating them.. steps from their back door literally.

Wonderful restaurant right downtown Clarkston not too far from I-75. Their huge smoker is visible from the parking lot in the back. The proof is in the delicious food that comes out of it. Meat of every kind is perfectly cooked and seasoned with smoked delicious flavor served with a smile by their excellent staff. Great drinks and appetizers and boots right by the front window so you can watch people walking by on the busy Clarkson Street.

Hands down the BEST BBQ restaurant in Clarkston, MI. 🙌🏼 Our waiter was Chance, who gave us excellent service. Our experience && their food was SO great, we went back for dinner a second night in a row, running into and requesting Chance again because of how well his service was the first night! Thanks Union Woodshop for the great time and great food!!
