Dave (manger I believe) and Nicole (waitress / server) were great ! Fish and chips rocked. Sheppard's pie is always on point. Love this place !

Great food & service. Nice live Irish music on the Sunday evening we went. Able to hold a conversation- wasn't too loud.

Service above everything is why we return! My husband passes me his sandwich for me to taste....it got away from us! Our server wasn't near but the mighty Natalie swooped in and continued the clean up! She also ordered us a new sandwich! Thanks Natalie for saving our day!!!

This is the BEST Irish Pub and Grille. Service was impeccable as many of the staff greeted us, continued to monitor our needs. The food was superb, well presented, and plentiful. The restaurant was exceptionally clean and the decor was as expected from an Irish pub. This is truly a “ must visit”. Mariah was a very professional server as well as a wonderful lady. Quality, quality, quality. Plenty of parking in back and easy accessParking: PlentifulWheelchair accessibility: Easy access from back lot and space to navigate In the restaurant.

Great new spot in Clawson! It's the same owners as O'Connors in Rochester. They serve the Jameson Old Fashioned, which is one of my favorite drinks ever. They also have a killer Reuben sandwich.

We ordered a carry out of two Rueben’s and a Maurice salad. The food was tasty but the presentation in a carry out was less than desired. I was surprised to find the dressing already on the salad-Dressing should always be on the side for a take out salad. The Rueben’s were good but the bottom bread soggy- wax paper should help. The pickle was placed underneath the sweet potato fries making them soggy-again wrapping the pickle would solve the issue.

Stopped by on St. Patrick's day. Let me explain how it went: $10 cover to get into a bar that was empty LOL. What Irish pub is dead on St. Patrick's Day. Limited menu on a poster board. Do you want food that is served in a brown paper bag and has been sitting out for hours? Could not walk, stuck to the floor the place was so dirty. Kevin Vandyke$$ should probably stop so they can provide at least a cracker barrel experience which would be a 5 star experience compared to Gus Snug. What a joke!

I heard great things about Gus' snug in Ferndale. Based on that I chose it as the place to go for St. Paddy's Day this year. There was a $10 cover - I understand, St. Paddy's only comes once a year and they had to pay for 2 bands and a tent. The place was packed, but service was fast. Unfortunately, my bartender had an attitude. I get it, she was going crazy from the huge crowd, but when I had the audacity to ask for a lime for my beer, she rolled her eyes and stormed off. She brought the lime and dropped it as she handed it to me and rolled her eyes again and was clearly angry when she had to get another one. I was pretty stunned that the plastic glass of draft Coors was $9.00. I ordered a corned beef sandwich. It was pre-made and came out warm from a cooler wrapped in aluminum foil. It was only $7 - cheap for a corned beef sandwich. It was terrible! It was really dry, had a slice of cheese and about 1/16 of an inch worth of corned beef on it. I couldn't taste the corned beef at all. The two bands playing were both good copy bands - but it was St. Patty's Day. Neither of them played any Irish music! I did order the homemade potato chips and onion dip - and the chips and dip were both great. The chips were warm and were only $5. They're the only reason I didn't rate this place a 1. Based on the reviews I got from friends, I'm going to give this place the benefit of the doubt because of the huge crowd and chaos of it being St. Patricks Day. I'll give it another try, but based on my first experience, I'm not optimistic.

The appetizers were very good, chips, pretzels and calamari. The corned beef and cabbage, Reuben and Guinness stew were really good.

Loved it here, so delicious. I had one of the burgers and it was amazing (the fries were so-so). Everyone seemed to love their food, others in our group had the Reuben, poutine, potato leak soup, burger, etc. Really enjoyed the atmosphere and food, and they even had a live performance going on (though we couldn’t see it from our table sadly). Loved it here and can’t wait to go back!
