I’m no crazy foodie but this is the best barbecue I’ve ever had. I ordered beef rib (picture) and my friend got the ribeye. I got the pecan pie for dessert too (pictured). Everything was delicious. Meat was falling off the bone tender. The corn is out of this world. My friend who is self proclaimed “not a corn person” loved the corn too. Service was excellent. The patio is a relaxing atmosphere on a warm evening.

The food was exceptional. Never expected to find real Texas BBQ in a small town in Michigan, but this is the place.
Went there specifically for the beef rib, it was very undercooked, still very pink inside, very chevy and the knives they give you could not cut thought the rib meat. They are supposed to fall off the bone tender, these were anything but tender. Sorry we will not be coming back.

Had a late-night taste for a carryout bbq beef ribs so i called the House of Barbeque 30 minutes before closing and they were 86 on beef ribs (understandable since it was 30 minutes before closing) so I opted for a slab of pork ribs. I was pleasantly surprised! Tasty, tender, perfectly smoked pork ribs and the sauce.....MMMMM Good!!! Had the opportunity to speak with the Master Chef/Owner of this hidden gem in Clawson and trust me, after satisfying my late-night craving....I will be back! If the rest of the House of Barbeque's fare is as good as the pork ribs (and I'm sure it is), I'll be one of your best customers. Clawson and surrounding communities, this is the real deal!!! Check it out!

Best BBQ hands down!! The chef is so humble and puts a lot of heart into the food.
We enjoyed our meal immensely. We ordered a sampler for two, and we're not disappointed. Is brisket with melting your mouth, his jerk chicken was moist and delicious. His ribs and brisket were perfectly smoked and so was the sausage. I look forward to taking my girls here. Excellent dinner.

I was excited to try the barbeque. The food is decent, but it is priced more than twice as much as comparable restaurants in the area. I got the platter for two, it is $50 (plus 4% for using a debit card). A similar dish at other local barbeques is around $22-$25. It was not twice as delicious as I would expect for twice the price.

This place is AHHH-Mazing! Got to meet Chef Collier and chat with him. He has a real talent and a passion for making good food. My wife and I have concluded that this was some of THE BEST BBQ we've ever had. We had the bourbon chicken, BBQ pork rib tips, the crab cakes, and the BBQ Mac and cheese. I tried a sampling of his brisket as well. OMG... I can't start to explain how tender and delicious it was... Everything tasted great! And he even sent us away with dessert. Of course we couldn't fit it at the moment. We had the chocolate pie and red velvet cake later that night. Again, amazing... We'll be back!!!!!!!
