Mui's Chinese Food Carry Out

This just ain’t it. I ordered general chicken. With their special fried rice, their fried rice that they charge me extra, had exactly 2 shrimp, and five cubes of ham.. and they have the nerve to charge you for duck sauce. They were nice. They were accommodating. It looks very clean and organized so I will say that.. Flavor on the chicken is Barely there.

This place has gone downhill, while their prices have gone uphill. A sweet and sour pork I used to order many years ago was absolutely horrible, will not be coming back.

MUI Chinese Food Carry Out is hands down my favorite spot! Every time I go, my food is fresh, piping hot, and absolutely delicious. They package everything securely so it travels perfectly, and I always have enough for more than one meal. My go-to is the pepper steak with shrimp fried rice, and it never disappoints.

On top of the great food, the family that owns this place is so kind and genuine. Once, I called right before closing without realizing, and they still made my order for me—that kind of service really stood out. I truly enjoy supporting them as much as I enjoy their food. Highly recommend if you want authentic, consistently excellent Chinese carry-out!

My family and I have been coming here for over 15 years now. My favorite Chinese food take out spot around the area. Super friendly and super good food. Extremely consistent and they do put in a lot of hard work and I can notice it. Forever grateful for this place.

Little pricier than golden bowl in oak park however the quality is still hot and fresh and you get more sweet & sour shrimp at this location. I plan to return!

Really good food with a cheap price. I usually get generals chicken. Always friendly staff when I go to pick up order. Highly recommend.

I was feeling lazy on a Sunday night and wanted to order something from Grub Hub. We can never find Chinese we like, so I was up for trying a new place. The menu seemed to have a wide range of Chinese staples, so we ordered some of our favorites - crab Rangoon, potstickers, sesame chicken and shrimp fried rice. They were all very average - not bad, but nothing notable.

It use to be better.
