I was feeling lazy on a Sunday night and wanted to order something from Grub Hub. We can never find Chinese we like, so I was up for trying a new place. The menu seemed to have a wide range of Chinese staples, so we ordered some of our favorites - crab Rangoon, potstickers, sesame chicken and shrimp fried rice. They were all very average - not bad, but nothing notable.
This place is a no nonsense carryout ONLY spot. Great orange chicken and curry. There is chicken in the rice by default which is an immediate good rating. Absolutely worth trying if its your lunch break or late night.
OK, as with others with fond memories of Kim's, our search continued for a decent place near us (Somerset Mall area). Reviews were mixed so worth a shot.Anyway, exceeded expectations with one caveat - carryout always loses something on the ride back home, so here's my opinions on the dishes we ordered. The ABC was excellent - large portion, excellent gravy - probably 90% of the quality at Kim's (that came right out of the kitchen and not in Styrofoam). Egg rolls...
