Me, my grandmother, and my brother went in about two days before Easter. I ordered a Greek salad and I have zero food allergies. When my grandmother and my brother walked in I had said something about the restaurant seeming not clean whatsoever. After I ate my salad I felt fine for an hour until I felt sick to my stomach. I brushed it off thinking nothing would come of it but little did I know that I would be throwing up nonstop for hours leading me to a visit to the emergency room from 10 pm to 2 am. As I am writing this review on April 2nd it has been since Friday, March 29th and I still feel sick and weak, since then I have not felt hungry. It later came to my knowledge that there was a RECALL on dole lettuce recently, so if that is what you used then I’m almost sure that’s what started this. You guys have very friendly staff but do better with what you serve to people.

The server was very nice, kind and helpful. But the food was terrible. The Stuff Pepper Soup was burnt and had the burnt taste to it, the Sweet And Sour chicken was full of onions and that’s all you could taste. The restaurant was not clean at all.

Good family style restaurant, good menu, plenty of menu selections and nice, friendly and fast service. Highly recommended if you like family style dining. The senior specials that come with fries, come loaded with fries. I know some people like fries, but this is just a little too much.

I will drive half an hour out of my way when visiting Detroit just to catch breakfast/brunch at this amazing diner. My personal favorite is their Southern Skillet. Portions are great and my coffee cup is never empty. I hope this diner is in business forever!

I dined here on a Saturday morning with my mother, friend, and her young daughter. The food was really good, and the atmosphere seemed like a family environment :)We were rushed to leave the restaurant because a bigger party was going to come in. The bigger party had not arrived there at the time we were told “I don’t mean to rush you, but we do have a bigger party coming in and we need these table.”We were waiting for our check to come to us, which is why we were sitting at the table. The feeling of being rushed did not feel good, as there were people who were sitting in the same area for a longer period of time than we were. There were other open tables when we first arrived, so maybe we should have been placed there instead of the “bigger party” table. The food was really good, and the atmosphere was a family atmosphere which was nice. It was just the way we were rushed out of there ,when we were just sitting and waiting for our waitress to come back with our check, that didn’t sit well with us.God bless you all ❤️

They are incredibly slow, waitstaff is not friendly & the food is pretty awful. It is also not clean inside. I don’t recommend going. Way better options nearby in Carson or royal oak.

I hate to give negative reviews but my experience warranted it unfortunately. Came here with a small group for breakfast, we were only there maybe 30 mins. The food was good but after it was delivered, we never saw the server again. Our cups of water remained empty. We were left waiting to get boxes and our check so we could go. A bearded man with glasses finally came up to us to ask if we needed boxes. When we were boxing up our food, he came back and very rudely said to us…“Ladies I don’t mean to rush you but we have a party of 8 we need to sit here”. We expressed our need and want to leave but no one had given us our check or anything. And again we weren’t even there a long time. There were many empty tables and other groups they were not rushing out. But we were the only people of color in the restaurant so if that played a part, I’m not sure. Never coming back. Never in my life have a been rushed out of a restaurant before. Please do better!!
