The food was excellent. It was made from scratch with fresh ingredients. Since its made to order and not sitting in a pot waiting for the next patron like other restaurants, some menu items take a little bit longer, but well worth waiting for. They have many other menu items that require less prep time and are served quickly. If you want off the shelf fast food, go elsewhere. Ryan, the server was always on top of things, attentive, and anxious to please. The prices were in line with other restaurants in the area but Red & The Wolf have a more unique, exciting menu. They atmosphere was very comfortable and spacious to allow for comfortable seating and conversation.

I stopped in late on a Saturday night craving a burger. I ended up sitting at the bar and having a wonderful chat with one of the owners. The ambiance is moody without being too dark, and this husband and wife owned joint is a great option for anything from a dinner with friends or family to solo dining or a date night.
They were able to accommodate my dietary restrictions (dairy free). Finding a dairy free burger is surprisingly hard, but I got a delicious smash burger on a DF bun with a vegan cheese option!
This place has great food and really fair prices, and the burger held up really well even after a long drive home.
I look forward to coming back and dining in person!

Everything was great here, I took my kids they loved it. Only thing we thought would be better if more photos of red or the wolf on the interior..

Our group of six practically ordered the entire menu and shared everything—and wow, it was one hit after another. ⭐️ The service was on point from start to finish, and the atmosphere had this cool, laid-back vibe that made the night even better. The food? Exceptionally creative—American comfort classics with an Asian flare that really worked.
Every appetizer delivered, especially the ribs with just the right kick 🔥. I’m still not sure how their Caesar salad was that good 🥗. The bao buns were a check ✔️, all the flatbreads were total standouts 🍕, and the desserts were next level. The carrot cake was incredible, and the crème brûlée was rich, delicious, and totally shareable 🍮.
If I had one suggestion, it would be to elevate the bar program a bit. Some signature cocktails, a true mixologist behind the bar, copper mule mugs, big ice cubes, and Luxardo cherries for an old fashioned would really complete the experience 🍸🧊🍒.
Overall, our group loved Red and the Wolf and we highly recommend this Clawson gem 💎. And hats off to the manager for professionally defusing a pretty unusual little “tiff” between a few patrons 👏—handled with total class.

I turned 30 (cry) and went here for a lil family dinner celebration. The chef came out to greet to us which was really nice and they hooked us up with two desserts on the house which were insanely good. Would recommend and will be back to try all the baos.

We had an awesome dining experience here for our niece's birthday. The five of us started off with the shrimp and flatbread appetizers. Very impressive. We loved the Asian flare. For dinner, several of us had the soho burgers. (They were sooooho delicious, melt-in-your mouth good.....and that kimchi slaw) Another guest had the confit salmon and another, had the Peruvian chicken. Both superbe. The salmon was cooked perfectly (and so moist.) All of the dinners were very generous portions. And lastly, we had two desserts for the table: the carrot cake and the black forest pudding!! Yum! Such a very different take on both. Deliciosa! y Magnifique! We will certainly be coming back.
Kudos to Chef Aaron, Heather and his staff. We'd like to thank you and our server, Brian for an outstanding dining experience. See you soon! The Thomson /Snyder family

I am thrilled that this place opened in downtown Clawson. I was so impressed with my dinner the other night, that I stopped in today for a quick lunch snack! You can tell just by looking at the menu that they really care about what they are serving, and have a great taste for the fusion of flavors and styles from multiple origins. When done right, that produces some really unforgettable dishes. They are definitely on that path.
Service was great, the restaurant was clean and nicely decorated, and everyone I encountered was friendly and approachable. I will certainly be back again and again, so I hope they stick around for the long haul.
I highly recommend the Baos. Especially the Peruvian Chicken (amazing sauce) and the Szechuan Hot Chicken (with perfectly fried thighs). Everything was great but the Baos are a particular highlight.
The Earl Grey Creme Brulee was exceptional and very unique. The lemon cream for garnish had an amazing powdered honey sprinkled over top. Crazy good!
There's just too much to list. 12/10

Tried it for the first time tonight and will be back! The new flatbreads are delicious and the smash burger was one of the better ones we have had.
Their ingredients are all elevated but their prices aren't. The staff was also super friendly and the atmosphere was great all around.
If you are in the area, give them a shot! They are killing it for being brand new.

Wow! What a great place to come to Clawson. We were here for Monday night dinner for 4. Huge crowd for a Monday night. Cozy booth. Great waiter. Food was amazing. Just not enough staff. We'll come back and hope for more of the same elevated evening out.

Best dining experience I’ve had in Michigan, really, ever. Their attention to detail and effort did not go unnoticed for a second. The decor was fabulous, the food was delectable, and the service topped it all off. The grilled cheese and soup was probably the best I’ve ever tasted, and I don’t say that lightly. The goat cheese flatbread.. incredible. Shrimp grilled perfectly and the slaw was the most flavorful dish I’ve tasted in a loooong time. The bao bun was expertly made. I never typically like burger sauce so I got mine on the side but this one was really good. The bartender squeezed an orange fresh for my mimosa. Super affordable on top of it all. These people know what they’re doing! New favorite spot.
