We set a reservation for patio seating on a Saturday. Then discovered that it was self seating upon arrival and the patio was full. It’s disappointing to expect outdoor seating when in reality, it’s first come first serve. Makes no sense to have a reservation option. We decided to stay and had to dine indoors when the AC is blasting. Food was good and service was prompt enough.

I have been a loyal fan of Tavern on the Main for over twenty years. The service today was enough for me to not go back. Our waitress ignored our table while we watched two other tables come in after us and take their orders. Then when I placed my order I told her I would also have a carry out order. When I flagged her down to place the carry out order she seemed very put out that I requested a carry out. I waited over 20 min for the order when I finally received my order it was cold! So disappointed!

This place is great. Good food. Good service. The only reason I gave it a four is because Keno was down and so no tear off lottery tickets were for sale which I like.
They exceptionally accommodated a post funeral dinner. Their thoughtfulness & care was amazing. I didn't see a menu as special dishes were prepared for us and it was all very good.
Food was ok, but we likes the atmosphere. I would return, but won't make a special trip

We love Tavern on the Main! We’ve been here several times and it never disappoints. Food, drinks and service are all great! I’m a plant lover and I asked the owner how old her jade tree is because it’s absolutely beautiful and well taken care of (just like her restaurant) and she went out her way to give me a propagation without even asking. So glad we found this place.
