Love this place! The service is a 4 because the past two times I have been here it took forever to get drinks (both the first and second round) - folks were friendly so they may just be short staffed. Drinks are always on point and the snacks are just the right size!

I have been here twice now. My first experience was not great, so I wanted to give it another shot. The second time I went I had similar results, don’t know if I want to visit a third time.I went for the Weiss on Ice theme and again now for Weiss in the Wild, both times I had reservations. The decor both times was absolutely amazing. Our server both times was very nice, but I feel they need more staff, as I only saw the one server, and they were doing their best to scurry around a packed full bar, resulting in my party not getting drinks in a timely matter. And since reservations are given only 1 hr and 30 mins, it resulted in us only getting able to try a few rounds of drinks. The drinks themselves were very cute, 10/10 on presentation & the drink-ware, but hit or miss on the flavors. Some were delicious, others horrible tasting. To me the atmosphere was the worst part, for Weiss on Ice they had extremely loud club music blaring the whole time, my party and I had to shout at each other to have a conversation. And to me didn’t fit with the winter theme vibes. The music was a lot more on theme for Weiss in the Wild, and not as loud. However, with how packed it got, it was still hard to hold a conversation as it got very loud in there with everyone talking. My next huge issue was the reservation seating. They seat you practically on top of the other tables, and you’re elbow to elbow with the person next to you.And the tables are very small, I struggled to have just me and 1 other person with me.And I saw them cramming party’s of 4 around the tiny tables. If I do try it again in the future, I will attempt the walk-in bar seating to see if that’s any better.

Tried to make reservations over week in advance. If the party is over 4 you have to text, which I did. Did not get a response until the next day at which point they asked for my name, it was provided. Showed up on the day and they did not have my reservation. tried calling prior to showing up and no one answered the phone.Edit: the owner reached out to try to compensate for the issue with the reservation, which was nice for them to do.

The drinks here are really good!! It’s very obvious the owners give the place the care it deserves and have an eye for detail, it doesn’t go unnoticed! The environment is super cool and unique. I suggest checking it out!

Definitely you are too cool for school if you go to this place on a regular basis. It's a great evening out to surprise someone with something totally different. The cocktails are good however they are priced a little high, but it's definitely a one or two cocktail kind of evening. That's not a bad thing. The bartenders were very nice, and I had to say the experience was definitely a positive one. This place is beautiful on the inside and you would never ever expect this in downtown Clawson. Stop in, bring a date, be impressed.

A local gem. Our party of three was able to walk in on a Friday and get a table but reservations are recommended. The ambiance is super fun and very decorated which was so festive. We all loved our cocktails in both taste and presentation and the complimentary popcorn was delicious and a great touch! We will be back for sure! Definitely try the abuela that was our favorite!

Beautiful interior design, creative cocktails, and nice upholstery. However, the cocktails were a bit sweet and the lighting was a bit bright for me.

Came here twice during their Halloweiss celebration which ended on 11/11. They put 120% into the decor and theme. Can't wait to come back for the winter wonderland in a few months.Parking is easy on the street. You should get reservations, but we came when they opened both times and had no issue getting bar seats. The entrance is super cool with a shop in the waiting area and a pass through elevator shaft. Disney would be proud. The theme was incredible and the drink menu matched. Weiss only pours what they make, so mixers are not going to be other liquors unless it's theirs. Drinks are well balanced. You can order more of a classic cocktails as the bartenders are all well versed. They have free popcorn if you ask nicely. A good snack with a cocktail. The service is what stands out for me the most. We mainly had two bartenders both visits and they rocked. Super nice and knowledgeable. I'll be back!

Super neat place. Found this on a whim while visiting family. Guess they usually take reservations? Walk in are fine but iffy... apparently decor is changed according to the holidays. Super neat. Mixology at its best for the drink. Interest mixes and definitely not watered down. All the servers were super! All dressed up and friendly. Entrance is through an elevator. Just cool all around!Pricing for appetizer is a bit extreme and the drinks are on the expensive side but awesome.

This place was amazing! If Weiss is a place on your list to visit then this is your sign to go. If Weiss is not on your list of places to visit yet, add it and get out there asap! You can reserve a table online and I would recommend doing so. However, walk in seating is first come first served at the bar. I was lucky enough to make it in for the Halloweiss special and the drinks did not disappoint! That atmosphere is out of this world. Whether you feel like a debutante or a wanna be mob boss this is your place to be! While in the bar you feel like the main character in your own movie. What are you waiting for? Go now!Parking: You can park in the lot behind the building. Parking is also available on the street but you'll want to read the sign carefully because some street spots have time limits.

I was so excited to go to this place after seeing the cool Halloween decor outside. We checked out their website and it states “bar seating first come first serve.” They open at 5:00, so we get there at 5:30 to see if there’s any bar seating and we are put on an hour and a half waitlist. We are fine with waiting, but end up not hearing any status about our reservation after 2 hours of waiting. My friend who made the reservation began texting the customer service number to check in to see our wait time and they cannot give an approximate time but say there’s still 4 groups ahead of us. My friend expresses frustration as it’s now over an hour past the original wait time we were provided with. After over 2 and a half hours of waiting, we go to the bar to check the status of our reservation. I have never in my life seen so many rude and unwelcome workers in one single establishment. The bouncer greeted us with a scowl and the hostess was whispering comments about us under her breath. They got the manager, who we assumed would be coming to apologize for the absurd wait time but she was actually just passive aggressively explaining why it took longer instead of apologizing. Inside, the atmosphere is incredibly disappointing. It’s dark, everyone else sitting down looks as miserable as we feel after our experience getting in. Drinks are over priced, inside it’s a snooze fest, and they act like it’s the most exclusive bar in the world. Definitely overrated, not worth it, and extremely disappointing. I’m not one to ever write a review or complain but the workers here should know to overestimate the wait time if it’s as popular as they say, and they should also know how to treat people with basic respect.

I live right around the corner - this was my first time stopping in to check out for Halloween. Online it advertises bar seating as first come, first serve with no reservation required. They still put you on a wait list for bar seating. We arrived at 5:30pm, a half hour after they opened, and were given a wait time of 1 hour 30 minutes. The restaurant failed to even follow up with us, and upon checking in with them, gave us another inaccurate wait time. We waited over 2 1/2 hours to be sat, and both the hostess and manager were extremely hostile and rude to our party because my friend complained of the very inaccurate estimated wait time and their total lack of communication. An accommodating restaurant would’ve profusely apologized for an additional hour long wait, and maybe offered a free appetizer or discount for the inconvenience. They made us feel so unwelcome, that we decided to leave. I sat at the bar for about 25 minutes and wasn’t even asked what I’d like to drink. The atmosphere and decor was also so underwhelming, and literally every person sat inside had a miserable look on their face. People were complaining in the lobby who had now been waiting 3/4 hours to be sat! Do not waste your time or money on an over exaggerated “Halloween bar” that is severely mismanaged and treats customers so poorly. We will never be back!

Went here for my birthday. All the drinks were of excellent quality and tasted fantastic. The ambiance is the best of any speakeasy/bar I've been to in Michigan and I'm definitely going here again. It gets busy sometimes but that's because it's good, Char.
