The apple galette will change your life baby! Lots of options, everything I had was great except the tiramisu which none of cared for but service is good and lots of places to sit.
Good coffee. I recommend the cortado with oat milk.

One of my favorite cafes! đ° The desserts are always delicious and perfectly balanced â not overly sweet. The coffee is aromatic and flavorful, and they serve the best matcha Iâve ever tried. The staff is incredibly kind, and the cozy atmosphere makes it a great spot to relax or work (Wi-Fi works perfectly!). Highly recommend!

Weâve given this place more than enough chances, but after being treated poorly on three separate visits by the same staff member, weâre officially done. Each time, she was dismissive and rude â and on our most recent visit, after she got our order wrong, she actually accused us of ordering incorrectly. There was no apology, just attitude. Honestly, I think she may be the cafe manager. Sheâs a shorter woman with short, dark hair. I am not sure what her name is but unfortunately, sheâs the reason we wonât be returning to White Wolf and the rest of the Noble Village business.
Mistakes happen, thatâs understandable. But the way customers are spoken to matters, and being met with blame instead of basic courtesy is unacceptable.
Thereâs a coffee shop directly across the street where the staff is always kind, attentive, and respectful and from now on, thatâs exactly where weâll be going.

Iâve been following the plans to integrate Noble Fish, White Wolf, One World, etc. into the Noble Village brand for years and was really excited for the âJapanese food hallâ idea theyâd advertised, but the current state of White Wolf/Noble Fish doesnât bode well. Iâm not sure how many of the current problems are temporary growing pains or permanent changes.
They moved White Wolf into what used to be the seating area for Noble Fish, so now thereâs very little seating for either. White Wolfâs offering significantly fewer items - they didnât have shokupan or any of the assorted buns they used to have for grab-and-go sales. They seem to have replaced their regular curry pan with a Thai-style curry puff, and werenât very good. Theyâd also run out of houjicha which⊠is disappointing for a Japanese-style bakery attached to a Japanese grocery.
Noble Fish also seems to have stopped offering their katsu sandwiches. They never really did a great job promoting them, which is a shame because good sandos are hard to find around here. Iâm kind of surprised Noble Village doesnât lean more into conbini-style grab-and-go foods, which are authentic, relatively cheap to make, convenient, and trendy.
Iâd hoped Noble Village was going to help expand the variety of high-quality Japanese food available to SE Michigan, but Iâm not feeling as hopeful after visiting today.

The Bakery is located inside a grocery store; itâs small, aesthetic and everything looks awesome. We ordered the Cocoa Chiffon &Matcha Swiss Rolls with red beans cream; theyâre nice, not sweet. The look is amazing.

Horrible decision to ruin white wolf with the nasty smells coming from the sushi restaurant. No seating. Less selection of baked goods. The ambiance is ruined I use to go there and sit and read my book and have a coffee and a lot of people would bring their laptops to work. Now thatâs all gone because of the merge. I bet the coffee shop will close because your lack of strategic planning. What a shame.

White Wolf Pastry is such a cozy gem! Their coffee is absolutely amazing â smooth, rich, and made just right every time. The desserts are incredible â not only delicious, but you can actually watch them being made fresh right in front of you! Itâs such a fun and unique touch that makes the experience even more special. Everything tastes as good as it looks, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. A perfect spot to treat yourself or catch up with a friend!

Service, selection of fresh desserts, and atmosphere are all poor.
Best coffee and pastry shop in East Michigan! I have tried pretty much every coffee and latte they have to offer, and they rarely miss. In addition, the pastries are also super consistent. Highly recommended to people who like sweets and coffee snobs :)
Edit: It sucks to have to change my review, because the food and coffee is still amazing, but the new space is disappointing. What was once a spacious and accommodating area has turned into a stiff unwelcoming hightop counter space. The former area used to be able to accommodate working remote, sitting down with a group of friends, or a quick sit down coffee/snack. Now it is only comfortable for a quick sit down coffee/snack. It feels like it was designed to have you in and out in 5 to 10 minutes. So if you are wanting something to go, itâs totally fine. But you wonât have a good time if you want to relax and get comfortable for more than 15 minutes. I used to bring groups of friends here when they were visiting from out of town, now we are just in and out with our food and find somewhere else to hang out. They also stopped providing Wi-Fi, so they may have purposely designed the space to not be a long-term hangout area. Supposedly, they are building out a common area in the building over. However, there doesnât seem to be a clearer timeline on when that will be operational.
Is White Wolf a fake bakery? Theyâve torn down their old location and crammed the bakery/cafe counter into the space where seating used to be in Noble Fish. I always thought it was odd how pristine the kitchen was back when they were in the space next door- almost as if it wasnât ever used. Quality bakeries in the Detroit area that Iâve visited have people working in the kitchen even in the later hours, preparing components for the next day or finishing fresh trays of pastries for service that same day. Now thereâs no kitchen, suggesting pastries wonât ever be prepared onsite again. Also like other reviewers have noted, there are no more comfortable seating options with the redesign. White Wolf & Noble Fish now seem to both cater only to a carry-out experience. Itâs a pity because I used to travel to this location for the ambience, even if the pastry situation has long been suspect
This is not what I expected out of a chocolate croissant.
Really great coffee and tea, the pastries are amazing.
