My wife and I went in to share a three meat combo that came with two sides. We got the pulled pork, brisket, and sausage with Mac n cheese and pit beans. The pulled pork and brisket was a bit on the dry side. The sausage was good and the sides were decent. I doubt I will go back.

If you like great food and drinks this is definitely the place to go to, I think this is the best place for food and drinks I used to work at this location and love the food my favorite is the BBQ mac$chesse and an occasional drink here and there, I definitely can promise you that you won't be let down, besides the food they have great employees and management and the cooks are always on top of they're game when you come by say hello to Eric and Matt

A different four letter word besides ‘Wood’ is probably more appropriate here based on our experience. The meat itself was decent, but the sauces and sides were absolutely horrible. The mac and cheese noodles were way overcooked and the cheese sauce itself was bland and gritty. The cornbread was cold and tasted like it was old—reminded me of a cheap Jiffy mix. The sweet potato mash was gross. All of the bbq sauces were brutal.
What was worse, however, was the atmosphere. When we were there on a Friday night, there was a group in the back of the seating area ‘singing’ karaoke. The volume was cranked to 11, none of the participants could even remotely sing but, nonetheless, they continued to make noises into the microphone for upwards of 45 minutes, belting out horrendous renditions of 80s Motown songs and continuously stabbing the horn/whistle/beep sound buttons on the karaoke machine while they consumed food and drinks that they’d brought with them in plastic grocery bags. They even had a smoke machine that they’d activate on occasion that would waft its way over everyone’s food and the general dining area. We couldn’t decide if they were hammered or on drugs, or whether this was a standard attraction at Woodpile or if these customers (?) brought the karaoke machine themselves. In the latter respect, none of the restaurant’s staff said a word to them to get them to stop, but the other customers’ silence and the restaurant’s general emptiness on a Friday night was loud enough.
Certainly has room for improvement, I suppose, but I definitely can’t recommend it or see myself going back anytime soon.

The food here is always delicious! I typically get the pit master platter, the brisket and sausage are so good and I usually have a fair amount of leftovers. The one thing that frustrates me about this place is the staff are incredibly unfriendly, like it seems like they make it a point to be rude or are just very indifferent to customers coming in. I've had maybe one good experience with the people behind the counter in the many times I've been here. I'll definitely keep coming, but only because the food is so good.
