My son and I went here for dinner. Place was empty.it was a Thursday night around 6ish and we were the only people there but the food was great and the atmosphere even though empty was enjoyable

Just skip this place, don't bother. They aren't what they used to be.
The meat came out room temperature. When we asked an employee about warming them up, there isn't a viable option to do so. They are kept in warming trays and then walked down a drafty hallway with the only option of putting it in the oven which would overcook them. So we had to accept cold food which is awful considering its almost $50 for 2 people. It's not an ideal dine in during winter but the food would get cold via carry out as well. Plus the food itself is just mediocre for the cost with a lot of additional charges on their menu. The only hot item was their collard greens. There are just better places in the area for bbq that will come out hot with better flavor for slightly better pricing (arkins, brown iron, mission bbq).

I wish I could post the video for proof but the brisket was so damn tough it broke the plastic fork they gave me… If you brisket is that tough you gotta reevaluate if you’re in the right business. Both it and the burnt ends were served to me cold and tough. Paid 3 bucks extra for both. Collards were just greens boiled in water and were also not soft. Mac and cheese tasted like craft with planko crumbs on top. If this is what passes for 4.4 stars in the north I need to move back down south.
Friendly service, in fact they were so nice, I didn’t have the heart to tell them in person how bad their Bbq is.

OMG!! Just went to wedding that they catered……all I have to say is don’t wait another minute. If you’re looking for delicious BBQ give these guys a try. It was ALL delicious. The meat, the beans, everything!! You will not be disappointed.
