On the Rocks Smoke House & Tiki Bar

Managment is awful. This place is a total joke.

I don’t know if this was the GM or the owner. But I guess I dodged a bullet here. In my 26 years of working and going to college getting a degree in business management. I’ve never been taught that calling for a follow up was a bad thing.went 2 days with no response when I messaged him back less than a minute later. I called and asked for him. The person that answerd the phone said “ummmmmmm NO! He’s not available” she took my name and number and asked why I called. I said to follow up about an interview. 10 minutes later I get this message.

We almost missed the entrance off the road, but we were glad that we didn't. We ate inside, but the outside bar was open. The dining room was quiet, with a nice view of the lake. The service was very good and the food was great. I definitely recommend this place.

This bar/restaurant/tiki bar is just ok. My ribs were the worst cooked that I have ever had. Service was fine and the atmosphere was small-town OK.

Brought in oit 34 Rinker. Fit no problem. Great little spot on the water. And unlike everywhere else the food is actually good!!!!!

The view is amazing! The drink list and menu are impressive. And Katie our server was fantastic!

real deal bbq here. the egg rolls are out of this world. everything I've had here was really good. perfectly smoked meats. plus Gatlin is the goodest boy ever.

Okay I literally got one drink then they wouldn't serve as they said I supposedly looked sleepy lmao this place just knew whoo I was and straight up as I live very close and know the owner and his dope fiend son I'm literally writing this at the barigi was so tired lol how am I typing this ALLLLLL I can say is wow 😲😲😲😲😳😳😳😳 never have I ever been treated this way such disrespect here n weird like gotta be in the in crowd smh

Have been eating here for years mostly go by boat from Mac rays, have had decent service and food in past trips. This time was horrible and will never be going back or recommending as I have in the past. We called ahead to ask if kitchen was open as it was 8pm. They said yes we arrived by boat at 815. Docked and went inside and asked server for table, she told me it is only private party.lmao. Told her I just called and they didn't tell me they were closed to the public. Wasted a trip across the lake, the owner is to blame. Also hit something right out front in the water prolly why they call it on the Rocks. This place used to be my
go to and would go across the lake to eat here. The owner and his "private parties" should tell people especially when they call ahead if they are not serving the public. I now see why people pay more to go to cabana blue right next door. What a shame as the food is pretty good. NEVER WILL BE GOING HERE AGAIN !

If you enjoy eating on a dock, watching private boats pass by, or to come up the canal to dock for food, then this place is for you! Well worth whatever time it takes you to drive or sail to the restaurant.

Owner is phenomenal. Staff are always friendly and the food selection is high quality. The view is priceless as well.

If I could rate this place 0 stars for service I would. Went on a Saturday evening. We were first told when we ordered the food will take 30 minutes. We said ok thank you for letting us know. Not a problem. Then 45 minutes rolls around we still haven’t received our appetizer. We kept being told our order will be out next. Over 2 hours later we finally got our food. I understand people don’t want to work and places are short staffed but I have an issue when the owner of the place hangs out the bar, drinks and doesn’t go to every customer and apologize for the delay or offer to help his staff clean tables, food run, etc…. Instead, he continues to stay and drink with his buddies. Like if you know your staff is struggling then get yourself in the back and help flip some burgers and serve. They never offered us to comp our bill or any discount. Our Server Haley was very nice and apologetic. But I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone. The ownership is TERRIBLE!!!!!

Half table got served, other half did not. Waitress was nice enough felt bad for her but some food good. Others were horrible. First time here and will not be back
