Superb friendly service. Ample serving sizes - always take some home. Their Lucky's salad is my favorite, light with lots of yummy fresh toppings. When you're able to take half home, the price is fair. Good coffee too. It's a hopping place, yet still able to carry on a conversation. Plenty of seating for gatherings. The parking area is packed, yet still find a parking place. I've tried many of their food choices, which were rich and full of flavor, although maybe a bit heavy on the sodium and fat content. I treat this place as a once in a while splurge with a friend or friends.

First time to this Luckys. All other Luckys are awesome. This one fell extremly short .
Told 20-25 minute wait. Almost an hour and the hostess was disorganized and not seating people. Kept running around for carryout orders. Our waitress was average. Slow service. My food was ok. My wife's meal was horrible. We mentioned to waitress and she was like, guess we got a different kind of chicken in. Said she'd tell manager. Wife could not eat it, so they took away and charged us 1/2 since she had a salad and baked potatoe. Manager never came over. Very disappointed. Fenton and Okemos locations Superior to this location.

Was seated quickly at 4pm on a Friday, wasn't very busy but took about 10 minutes for our waitress to even come and greet us and get our drink order. But watched her talking near thr kitchen the whole time.
Food was good.
Waitress was better attentive once we got our food.

Great food.
Food is inconsistent and drinks are inconsiderate. The staff are nice but definitely over worked. They are always understaffed.
Our table ordered prime rib (medium) and a New York strip steak (medium). Prime rib was dry and gritty unlike any prime rib I ever tasted. Steak had a bad, unique flavor. Would not advise these 2 plates. On a positive note. Both our Caesar salad and bread was good. Our waiter was excellent.
Wait staff inattentive and not good at their job.Appetizers were terrible, soggy shrimp and crab cakes. Asked for a medium steak, hot a bloody rare 1,sides were cold and not cooked well (onion rings and fries) replacements were also terrible. Will not waste time or money there again, if you want good food,go across the street to Leo's Coney.
Good steaks for the prices.
We were looking forward to a really nice dinner with our mom to celebrate a late Mother's Day, so we chose Lucky's.
Won't be doing that again.
We were seated immediately, which was nice, but then we waited 20 minutes for anyone to come by. No water. No hello. No menus. No server. We had to ask the hostess, who looked rather put out, who our server was. A few minutes later we had one. She did well. No complaints about her at all. We did, however, have to ask for me, clean menus, since the ones we were given were covered in a shiny, oily substance.
Both my mom and I ordered the ribeye with the onions, mushrooms, and gorgonzola. By the time we got through our enormous sides, we both ended up taking most of our steaks home. The Caesar salad was pretty good, but drenched in dressing. The garlic green beans oddly had no flavor and were overcooked. And we didn't know it until later, but the steak was ribboned with gristle, and completely unenjoyable the next day.
The key lime pie and cheesecake were delicious, but that was the extent of it.
Such a disappointing experience, and one that cost us collectively over $150.
In addition, the dining area was set up poorly, not leaving space for me to wheel my wheelchair bound mother to the ladies' room. A server had set up the trays on stands completely blocking the way into the restrooms, and when I asked to get through, he told us to wait until he was finished serving the group at that table. Our server, who heard that in passing, interjected and told him no, blazing a path through for us so my mom could use the restroom.
Had never been to, or even heard of a Lucky's before. This was our first impression. Suppose it's also our last.

Always busy
I've been there 3 times the last year. The first 2 times it took 20 mins after being seated for a waiter/waitress to even say hello. And those times we were there for 2 hrs 45 mins and got our food cold. This 3rd time was today for my wife's and I anniversary and that was today. Got seated, and again...20 mins go by and 7 waiter/waitress working and not one even said hello to us. If you love sitting down at a restaurant for 20-30 mins before even being greeted, this is your place. Luckys used to be great 3 yrs ago. Now it sucks.
Clio Lucky's. Definitely not comparable to Lucky's in Davison. Same name but worlds apart. The vegetables our whole party had should have been thrown out days ago! From the salad mix to the broccoli to the Brussels sprouts- all bad. It was a large party and close to the end of the night and my raspberry martinis (2) were quite tasty so I'm giving an extra star. Amy was good, patient and kind but could've used help.
My (I can't even comment on the rest of the party who all experienced issues) prime rib was well done although I ordered it rare. They took $11 off my $27 meal. I left it.
My coworkers said not to go to this Lucky's but we came for a birthday.
Definitely will not be back.
I only leave a review of something is exceptionally good or exceptionally bad.
The steak was a little tough. The sides were delicious. The waitress was very great. Generous portions thru appetizers were great. Prices reasonable.
I called a week in advance for reservations for 6 people at 2:30pm. When i called i stated that i may have more and would that be okay. The woman i talked to said yes that was fine but to call the day of and let them no the specific number no later than 12:30. Fast forward day of reservation. I get a call at noon asking if i was still going to make my reservation and how many people. I said I believe it’s 8 but I’m waiting for my sister to call me and I said I would call her as soon as we hung up and call back. The woman said that was fine. I call my sister and then call the resturant right back. Couldn’t have been more than 2 minutes. I said it’s going to be 9 people. The new woman i spoke to says very curtly “you have now changed your reservation 3 times. If you change it again we will not accommodate you. I say okay. She also goes on to state that we will not be sat until all the party has arrived and that i have 15 minute grace period. We all get to the restaurant and I tell her we are all here my dad is just getting out of the car. She looks at me and says “you all have to be in the building”. I say ok fine. She then had us wait 20 minutes until we were sat. Where is your grace period. Never have I ever dealt with a more rude self entitled woman before in my life. Never did she great anyone with a smile. My family and I will never return to this establishment.
